Strasbourg rallied past ASVEL to take 1-0 lead in the semifinal series. The hosts were ahead by 6 points but lost the second period ending it with a 5-point deficit before their 26-13 run, which allowed them to win the game. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Karsiyaka outrebounded Fenerbahce Ulker 39-26 including 26 on the defensive glass. 25 personal fouls committed by Fenerbahce Ulker helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities.
