Vladimir Bogojevic played for the German National Team for almost six years from 1996 to 2001, participated with them at European Championships in 1997 and 1999. In his second EC appearance he was No.1 assistant of the championship, playing together with the German NBA superstar Dirk Nowitzki

The 21-year old player was the main contributor (16 points, seven rebounds and three assists) to his team's victory, helping them to edge out Mega Vizura (#3, 9-4) 88-85.
