Julien Lesieu (201-C/F-83) has extended his deal with Saint Quentin. The new contract is meant for two seasons. The centre has been playing for the team since 2009. Last season Julien Lesieu notched 15.5 points, 8.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game in ProB. The centre was named into All-French NM1 1st Team in 2012.

Montepaschi Siena victoriously opened the series versus Cimberio Varese. The defending champions stole a road win in the opener. Cimberio Varese was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game.
