Experienced Serbian Branko Jorovic (204-F-81, agency: Beo Basket) had a very impressive game in the last round for league's leader Igokea and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 25. The 31-year old forward had the game-high 24 points adding six rebounds and two assists for Igokea in his team's victory, helping them to beat Krka (#10, 9-16) 84-75. It allowed Igokea to consolidate first place in the Adriatic League . They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Igokea has a very solid 19-6 record, but they cannot be too comfortable about keeping top position. In the team's last game Jorovic had a remarkable 55.6% from 2-point range. He turned to be Igokea's top player in his first season with the team. Jorovic has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (8th best: 14.4ppg) and averages solid 56.5% FGP.
The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 22-year old forward Dino Muric (200-F-90) of Un.Olimpija. Muric impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 22 points and 13 rebounds. Bad luck as Un.Olimpija was edged in overtime by the lower-ranked Siroki WWin (#11, 9-16) 85-82. Un.Olimpija managed to keep the same 7th spot in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 13-12 record is not bad and everything may still change. Muric is one of the most experienced players at Un.Olimpija and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.
The third best performed player last round was Gjorji Cekovski (203-PF-79) of MZT Skopje (#8). Cekovski scored 21 points and grabbed nine rebounds. He was a key player of MZT Skopje, leading his team to a 66-64 win against the higher-ranked Partizan (#4, 15-10). MZT Skopje needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 13 victories and 12 lost games. Cekovski has a very solid season.
