Hayes
American point guard Kenny Hayes (188-PG-87, agency: Priority Sports) had an amazing evening in the last round for second-ranked Galil Gilboa, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 6 (Second Stage).
The 25-year old player was the main contributor (32 points, two rebounds and six assists) to as his team Galil Gilboa maintains the 2nd position in Balkan League First Six. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier in Second Stage. Galil Gilboa will need to avoid more loses keep or improve their 10-4 record. In the team's last game Hayes had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range and got six three-pointers out of 9 attempts. He turned to be Galil Gilboa's top player in his first season with the team. Former Miami University, Ohio star has very solid stats this year. Hayes is in league's top in assists (7th best: 3.9apg) and averages impressive 56.0% FGP and 48.4% from behind 3-point line.

The second best player in last round's games was 24-year old Vuk Malidzan (193-G-88) of OKK Beograd. Malidzan had a very good evening with a triple-double of 21 points, 13 rebounds and 12 assists. Bad luck as OKK Beograd was edged by slightly higher-ranked Mornar Bar (#-3, 4-8) 84-83. Despite lost game OKK Beograd moved up to -2th position in Last Four. 9 lost games are too many comparing to just three victories OKK Beograd managed to get this Second Stage. Malidzan is well-known at OKK Beograd and is a proven leader in his second season with the team.

Third on the list of top players last round was center Vukota Pavic (203-C-93) of Mornar Bar (#-3). Pavic scored 24 points and grabbed thirteen rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Mornar Bar, leading his team to a 84-83 win against #-2 ranked OKK Beograd in a game of the week. The chances of Mornar Bar not to end season at such low position in Last Four, however are less than slim as they have already lost 8 games, recording just four victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Pavic could try to bring Mornar Bar's a little bit higher in the standings. Pavic has a very solid season. In 11 games in Balkan League he scored 8.6ppg. He also has 5.8rpg and FGP: 58.2%.
