Milos Pavlovic (210-F/C-84, agency: BeoExcell) had a great game in the last round for OKK Beograd and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 9.
The 28-year old power forward had a double-double of 15 points and eleven rebounds, while his team edged out Rilski Sportist (#7, 4-3) 83-82. OKK Beograd maintains the 10th position in Balkan League group B. The season is still in it's early stage, so the team may have a chance to improve their current position in the standings. They lost 5 games and had just two victories. Pavlovic turned to be OKK Beograd's top player in his first season with the team. Pavlovic has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (5th best: 7.3rpg) and averages solid 60.0% FGP and 61.1% from behind 3-point line.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 26-year old American center Tony Gugino (207-C-86) of Rilski Sportist. Gugino impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 23 points and 14 rebounds. Bad luck as Rilski Sportist was edged by the lower-ranked OKK Beograd (#10, 2-5) 83-82. This loss caused Rilski Sportist to drop to 7th position in group B. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 4-3 record is not bad and everything may still change. Gugino is a newcomer at Rilski Sportist and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was another Rilski Sportist's star - Serbian Branko Mirkovic (190-G-82, agency: Global Sports Plaza). Mirkovic showcased his all-around game by recording 24 points, five rebounds and twelve assists (!!!) in the last round. Despite Mirkovic's great performance Rilski Sportist lost 82-83 to the lower-ranked OKK Beograd (#10, 2-5). But his team cannot count on just these two top stars as they also need help of the other teammates. The last thing Rilski Sportist needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams in group B. Their record is 4 victories and 3 lost games. Mirkovic has a great season in Balkan League. After only 6 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 15.2ppg (7th best) and assists with 6.2apg (2nd best). He also has FGP: 73.1% and 3PT: 43.3%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Aleksandar Radulovic (207-C-84) of Teodo Tivat - 23 points and 9 rebounds
5. Dimitar Dimitrov (202-F-93) of Levski Sofia - 25 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists
6. Nikolay Varbanov (210-C-85) of Levski Sofia - 17 points and 10 rebounds
7. William Coleman (206-F-88) of Kavala - 17 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists
8. Anthony Grundy (189-PG-79) of Kavala - 20 points, 3 rebounds and 8 assists
9. Marko Marinovic (183-PG-83) of Levski Sofia - 11 points, 2 rebounds and 9 assists
10. Amit Simhon (197-F/G-89) of Galil Gilboa - 17 points and 3 rebounds

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
