Rudupis - Ventspils 69-91

Ventspils made a huge step towards the crown after they knocked down Rudupis in Prienai. The game was mostly controlled by Ventspils. Rudupis was better in third quarter 17-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Ventspils shot 64.7 percent from the field. Ventspils outrebounded Rudupis 28-16 including a 23-12 advantage in defensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three nailing 14 long-distance shots on high 73.7 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Folarin Campbell (192-86, college: George Mason) who helped to win the game recording 23 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists (perfect behind the arc making all five shots). Forward Akselis Vairogs (195-85, agency: Players Group) contributed with 12 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Five Ventspils players scored in double figures. Swingman Gediminas Orelikas (200-90) answered with 15 points and guard Arturas Milaknis (195-86) added 13 points in the effort for Rudupis.

Barons/Kvartals celebrated the win in the consolation final series opener. The teams will now clash in Estonia later in the week. The hosts trailed by 9 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 13-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 79-71. American forward Tyler Cain (203-88, college: S.Dakota) fired 14 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Lithuanian Deividas Dulkys (198-88, college: Florida St.) chipped in 17 points. Four Barons kvartals players scored in double figures. Barons kvartals' coach Martins Gulbis used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Senegalese center Bamba Fall (217-86, college: SMU) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and U.S. Virgin Islands center Frank Elegar (208-86, college: Drexel) added 13 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side.

Tartu Ulikool - Kalev/Cramo 67:68 Tartu Ulikool clinched Baltic League Bronze medals. They overcame their arch-rivals Kalev/Cramo on aggregate in the consolation final series. Pieno Zvaigzdes - Vytautas 74:89 Vytautas celebrated the Baltic League championship title. They surprised Pieno Zvaigzdes on the road in the return leg of the title series to be crowned champions.
