There will be only one (last) round of the Second Stage in Baltic League. What a coincidence that all visitors won their games.

The most interesting game of round 3 was a derby match between two teams from Belarus. The game took place in Borisovo where second ranked Gorizont won against host Berezina-RCOR (0-3) 59-46. The game was mostly controlled by Gorizont. Berezina-RCOR managed to win third quarter 19-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Berezina-RCOR to just 6 points in first quarter. Gorizont held Berezina-RCOR to an opponent 22.2 percent shooting from the field compared to 37.7 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Berezina-RCOR 42-31 including 30 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for guard Natalia Anufryienka (174-85) who led her team to a victory with 9 points, 7 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 steals. Center Marina Kress (193-80) contributed with 6 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Gorizont's coach Anatoly Buyalskiy used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Ala Murauskaya (187-85) answered with 15 points and 8 rebounds for Berezina-RCOR. Defending Belarusian champion (4-1) keeps a position of Group A leader. Berezina-RCOR at the other side still closes the standings with three games lost. Gorizont's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Minsk to the arena Tsmoki-Minsk.
One of the most interesting games of round 3 was a derby match between two teams from Belarus. The game took place in Grodno where leader Olimpia GrGAU outleveled host Victoria-UOR (0-4) 101-64. It was a great evening for Maryia Papova (186-94) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 15 rebounds (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!). Tatiana Shapochkina helped adding 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was point guard Alena Holubeva (176-94) with 20 points. Victoria-UOR's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Undefeated Olimpia GrGAU (5-0) have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place in Group B with a perfect record of 5 victories in a row. Victoria-UOR at the other side still closes the standings with four games lost. Olimpia GrGAU will play against Tim-Scuf (#3) in Kyiv in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Victoria-UOR will play at home against Tim-Scuf in Kyiv and hopes to get finally their first victory.

It was an exceptional evening for Marina Kress who led the winners and scored 8 points and 10 rebounds. Annika Koster came up with 8 points and 9 rebounds for Eclex Tallinn in the defeat. Eclex Tallinn's coach rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Defending Belarusian champion keeps a position of Group A leader. Eclex Tallinn lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the third place with four games lost. Gorizont's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Minsk to the arena Tsmoki-Minsk.

An interesting game for Belarusian Olimpia GrGAU (5-0) which played road game in Vilnius against second-best Lithuanian Kibirkstis-Tiche (2-2). Leader Olimpia GrGAU managed to get a 4-point victory 62-58. It was a good game for Maryia Papova who led her team to a victory with 20 points and 6 rebounds. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Olimpia GrGAU. They maintain first place in Group B with 5-0 record. Loser Kibirkstis-Tiche keeps the second position with two games lost. Olimpia GrGAU will face Tim-Scuf (#3) in Kyiv in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Kibirkstis-Tiche will play at home against Tim-Scuf in Kyiv and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Eclex Tallinn - Gorizont 50-56

An interesting game for Belarusian Gorizont (4-1) which played road game in Tallinn against 3rd placed Latvian Eclex Tallinn (1-4). Second ranked Gorizont managed to get a 6-point victory 56-50. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 17-13. But Eclex Tallinn won second period 15-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Gorizont had a 18-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for center Marina Kress (193-80) who led the winners and scored 8 points and 10 rebounds. Forward Tatsiana Khatsko (187-89) accounted for 15 points for the winning side. An interesting game for Belarusian Tsmoki-Minsk (3-0) which played road game in Tallinn against 3rd placed Latvian Eclex Tallinn (1-4). Leader Tsmoki-Minsk had an easy win 81-49. The game without a history. Tsmoki-Minsk led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Eclex Tallinn's 32. Tsmoki-Minsk players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. The best player for the winners was power forward Volha Istseliatsova (189-88) who scored 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Russian-Belarusian guard Zhanna Horodetskaya (180-79) chipped in 9 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Tsmoki-Minsk players scored in double figures.
