Parnu - Lietkabelis 101-75

The game was mostly controlled by KK Parnu. Lietkabelis was better in third quarter 25-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. KK Parnu dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Lietkabelis' 32 and made 20-of-26 charity shots (76.9 percent) during the game. KK Parnu players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Center Rain Raadik (208-89) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds. Lithuanian guard Augustas Peciukevicius (192-91) contributed with 19 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Five KK Parnu players scored in double figures. Forward Vaidotas Volkus (202-85, college: Redlands CC) replied with 27 points and 8 rebounds and Arnas Butkevicius (196-92) added 9 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Lietkabelis. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

Rudupis - Kalev/Cramo 84-63

The game was mostly controlled by Rudupis. Kalev/Cramo managed to win fourth quarter 21-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 24-of-30 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Rudupis forced 19 Kalev/Cramo turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. 25 personal fouls committed by Kalev/Cramo helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Gintaras Kadziulis (192-80) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 6 assists and swingman Gediminas Orelikas (200-90) who added 18 points and 4 assists during the contest. Four Rudupis players scored in double figures. American power forward Gary Wilkinson (205-82, college: Utah St.) responded with 19 points and U.S. Virgin Islands center Frank Elegar (208-86, college: Drexel) scored 6 points and 11 rebounds. Kalev/Cramo's coach Alar Varrak gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win.

Tarvas - Juventus 100-85

It looked good early as Juventus took an 4-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then BC Rakvere had a 21-16 second period charge getting the lead and Juventus were not able to take back game control losing it eventually 85-100. BC Rakvere forced 19 Juventus turnovers. Juventus were plagued by 30 personal fouls down the stretch. The winners were led by American guard Brandis Raley-Ross (188-87, college: S.Carolina) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 19 points, 13 rebounds and 9 assists and point guard Reimo Tamm (185-84) supported him with 15 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Even a double-double of 20 points and 13 rebounds by forward Nerijus Varnelis (201-78) did not help to save the game for Juventus. Center Karolis Petrukonis (212-87, college: Clemson) added 14 points and 6 rebounds for the guests. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures.

Ventspils dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Barons kvartals' 24. The best player for the winners was Arturs Berzins (204-88, agency: FCM) who scored 15 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Akselis Vairogs (195-85, agency: Players Group) chipped in 12 points and 5 rebounds. Four Ventspils players scored in double figures. Valmiera/ORDO (LBL) signed 20-year old guard Eduards Hazners (192-97). He played last season at VEF Riga in the LBL. In 14 games he had 6.3ppg and 2.0rpg. Hazners helped them to win the league title despite they ended the regular season at the second place. Hazners also played 11 games in VTB United League where he recorded just 1.0ppg. Valmiera/ORDO (LBL) agreed terms with Latvian forward Anrijs Miska (203). He played last season at Viten Getafe Fuenlabrada in Spanish EBA league. In 16 games he had just 2.3ppg and 1.5rpg.
