22-year old forward Nadzeya Yakovits (182-F-90) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for second-ranked Tsmoki-Minsk and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 3 (Second Stage).
She had the game-high 12 points adding two rebounds and five assists for Tsmoki-Minsk in her team's victory, helping them to outclass Eclex Tallinn (#3, 1-4) with 32-point margin 81-49. Tsmoki-Minsk was forced-out from the top positions in Baltic League group A. They maintain perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Tsmoki-Minsk already had a very good start winning all 3 without losing a single one. It's Yakovits' second year at Tsmoki-Minsk and it's hard to imagine this team without her. Yakovits has impressive league stats. In the last game Papova recorded impressive double-double of 23 points and 15 rebounds. Of course she lead Olimpia to another comfortable win outscoring Victoria (0-4) 101-64. A very good start of the Second Stage for her team, which won so far all 5 games without any defeat. Papova is well-known at Olimpia and she already established her position as one of the team's leaders.

Third place about best performers goes to another Olimpia's star - center Lyubov Alyoshkina (203-C-81). Alyoshkina scored 16 points and grabbed eight rebounds. She was another key player of Olimpia, helping her team with a 101-64 easy win against #0 ranked Victoria in a game of the week. Olimpia started extremely well this Second Stage. They recorded 5 victories without losing a single game in group B. Alyoshkina turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Alyoshkina has a very solid season. The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
