Pieno Zvaigzdes - Kalev/Cramo 82-79

Kalev/Cramo was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. It was a great shooting night for Pieno Zvaigzdes especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 64.7 percentage. The best player for the winners was Gytis Sirutavicius (195-83) who scored 21 points. Guard Sarunas Vasiliauskas (188-89, agency: Alti Sport) chipped in 8 points and 7 assists. U.S. Virgin Islands center Frank Elegar (208-86, college: Drexel) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and Latvian guard Armands Skele (192-83) added 18 points respectively for the guests. Four Kalev/Cramo players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.

TU/Rock - Barons kvartals 100-89 OT

The game was mostly controlled by TU/Rock. Barons kvartals managed to win third quarter 27-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening, at least not yet. The game turned upside-down in the last quarter, where Barons kvartals used huge pressure winning it 12-21 getting a tie at the end of regular time. They lost eventually overtime period 14-11. TU/Rock made 27-of-32 free shots (84.4 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 Barons kvartals turnovers and outrebounded them 37-25 including a 15-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Guard Rain Veideman (193-91) scored 28 points to lead the charge for the winners and American point guard Justin Ingram (188-85, college: Toledo, agency: Two Points) chipped in 19 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. TU/Rock's coach Gert Kullamae used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Latvian forward Maris Gulbis (202-85, agency: Players Group) responded with 18 points and 6 rebounds (was perfect 11-for-11 from the free throw line !!!) and American forward Tyler Cain (203-88, college: S.Dakota) scored 12 points and 7 rebounds. Four TU/Rock and five Barons kvartals players scored in double figures.

Ventspils - Siauliai 87-80

The game without a history. Ventspils led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 19-of-23 charity shots (82.6 percent) during the game. Siauliai was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Arturs Berzins (204-88, agency: FCM) orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Martins Laksa (200-90, agency: FCM) contributed with 20 points for the winners. Guard Laurynas Samenas (192-88) replied with 22 points and guard Vytautas Sulskis (200-88, college: Youngstown St.) added 14 points (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) in the effort for Siauliai. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.

Rudupis - Tarvas 110-89

The game without a history. Rudupis led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Rudupis outrebounded BC Rakvere 38-24 including 25 on the defensive glass. They shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 53.3 percentage. Rudupis looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by BC Rakvere's players. The best player for the winners was swingman Gediminas Orelikas (200-90) who scored 26 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Arturas Milaknis (195-86) chipped in 23 points. Five Rudupis players scored in double figures. Rudupis' coach Virginijus Seskus felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. point guard Reimo Tamm (185-84) produced 25 points and 5 assists and American guard Brandis Raley-Ross (188-87, college: S.Carolina) added 18 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for the guests.
