Belarus beat Portugal at the end of the Torneio Internacional de Vila Real. The guests managed to post the final 71:67 win.
Portugal started the game with 19:18 lead and added 20-18 rally in the second frame. Moreover the hosts needed a 17-11 surge to take 56:47 at the end of the third period. Belarus however dominated the last stanza and reached the necessary win. The guests exploded with a 24-11 burst and won the game by 4 points. Artsiom Parakhouski (210-C-87, college: Radford) scored the last points for the winners to triumph at Torneio Internacional de Vila Real.
Artsiom Parakhouski top-scored for the winners with 16 points and Vitali Liutych (198-SG-92) nailed 12. Yury Mishukov (205-C-85) followed them with 8 points. Joao Santos scored 12 in defeat, while Jose Silva had 10.

Dallas Mavericks (NBA) released 26-year old Belarusian international point guard Maalik Wayns (185-88kg-91, college: Villanova). The last season Wayns played at Maccabi Rishon (Winner League) in Israel where in 16 games he had very impressive stats: 15.1ppg, 3.4rpg, 4.1apg and 1.4spg.
