Ceyhan Belediyespor (TKBL) inked 25-year old Belarusian international point guard Alexandra Tarasava (170-88). She has played for the last two years at VS Praha in ZBL league in Czech Republic. In 30 games she averaged 8.3ppg, 2.3rpg, 1.9apg and 1.1spg last season. She helped them to make it to the Czech Rep. Cup Semifinals. Tarasava also played 8 games in Eurocup where she had 12.0ppg, 2.9rpg, 4.0apg (top 5) and 1.5spg. Tarasava received also Eurobasket.com All-EuroCup Honorable Mention award in 2013.
Among other achievements her team made it to the Czech Rep. D1 Semifinals in 2012.
She has been also a member of Belarusian international program for some years. Tarasava has regularly played for Belarusian senior team since 2009 and previously for U20 National Team back in 2006. She represented Belarus at the European Championships in France this year. Her stats at that event were 9 games: 8.1ppg, 2.0rpg, 1.7apg, FGP: 40.0%, 3PT: 26.7%.
Tarasava has played previously professionally in Slovakia (MBK Ruzomberok and Dannax Sport) and Belarus (Tsmoki-Minsk).

This week's number one is an international shooting guard Vitali Liutych (198-92). He could not help Kalev/Cramo (5-19) in their last game. Tsmoki II - Vitebsk 77-81 Vitebsk upset Tsmoki II on the road to advance into the semifinal stage. The guests trailed by 7 points after three quarters before their 18-7 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Vitebsk dominated on the defensive end, holding Tsmoki II to just 7 points in fourth quarter.
