There will be only one (last) round of the Second Stage in Premier League.

Premier League round 5 caused change at the leadership position. Eighteenth defeat of league's leader Impuls BGUIR (12-18) against second ranked Tsmoki-Minsk II (12-17) 71-63 was the most important game of the last round. It was a key game for the top position in League. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 15-9. But Impuls BGUIR won second period 19-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Tsmoki-Minsk II won last quarter 23-17. They made 22-of-28 free shots (78.6 percent) during the game. Tsmoki-Minsk II forced 22 Impuls BGUIR turnovers and outrebounded them 44-32 including a 19-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. 26 personal fouls committed by Impuls BGUIR helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Forward Aliaksandr Semianiuk (207-93) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 15 rebounds. Guard Valentin Ignatchik (192-91) contributed with 16 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Henadziy Zakhar (198-92) answered with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 15 rebounds for Impuls BGUIR. Tsmoki-Minsk II keeps a position of League leader. Impuls BGUIR at the other side dropped to the second place with 18 games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Grodno-93. Impuls BGUIR will have a break next week, which should allow them to rest and make it back to the top of the standings. Tsmoki-Minsk II will try to continue on its current victory against third ranked Borisfen in Mogilev.

The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. As mentioned above they took over a top position. Tsmoki-Minsk II at the other side still keeps top place with 17 games lost. Tsmoki-Minsk II will play next round against strong Borisfen trying to get back on the winning streak. Impuls BGUIR will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
An interesting game for Sozh Gomel (20-9) which hosted in Gomel 3rd placed Rubon (12-17). Second ranked Sozh Gomel had an easy win 95-77. Dmytro Khodov nailed a double-double by scoring 23 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side. Aliaksei Kachan came up with 20 points for Rubon in the defeat. Sozh Gomel maintains second place in League with 20-9 record having eight points less than leader Grodno-93. Loser Rubon keeps the third position with 17 games lost. Sozh Gomel will meet league's leader Grodno-93 on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Rubon will play against Svisloch in Osipovichi and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Grodno-93's coach Andrei Vasileuka allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Grodno-93 maintains first place in League with 28-1 record. Svisloch at the other side keeps the fourth position with 17 games lost. Grodno-93's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Sozh Gomel at home and it will be for sure the game of the week. Svisloch will play against Rubon in Vitebsk and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

An interesting game for Sozh Gomel (20-9) which hosted in Gomel 3rd placed Rubon (12-17). Second ranked Sozh Gomel had an easy win 95-77. The game was mostly controlled by Sozh Gomel. Rubon managed to win second period 27-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. Sozh Gomel forced 21 Rubon turnovers. Ukrainian forward Dmytro Khodov (203-87) nailed a double-double by scoring 23 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side and guard Kiril Sitnik (190-89) accounted for 20 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). point guard Aliaksei Kachan (186-91) came up with 20 points and Yahor Patupchyk (191-94) added 14 points and 4 assists respectively for Rubon in the defeat. COR-Borisfen Mogilev (Premier League) hired 42-year old coach Andrei Krivonos from Tsmoki-Minsk. Krivonos has coached there for the last nine years. He helped them to win the cup. The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Krivonos was voted Eurobasket.com All-Belarusian League Coach of the Year back in 2009, 2010, 2012 and 2013. Xuven Cambados (LEB Silver) landed 26-year old Belarusian center Vladzimir Krysevich (209-110kg-91). He played most recently at BSEU-GrandPrint in Belarusian Premier League.
