We bring you last week's top performances from Belgians who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

Anke De Mondt
Anke De Mondt
#1. This week's number one is an experienced international swingman Anke De Mondt (175-79, currently plays in Poland). She contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked AZS Gorzow Wielkopolski (8-10) 71-56 in the Polish PLKK in Tuesday night's game. De Mondt scored 8 points in 19 minutes on the court. TS Wisla Can-Pack Krakow (14-4) is placed third in the PLKK. It was her team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. De Mondt has relatively good stats this year: 10.4ppg, 3.7rpg, 2.3apg, 1.1spg, 2FGP: 44.6%, 3FGP: 39.6% and FT: 95.0%(19-20) in the 20 games she played so far. She is currently a member of the Belgian senior national team.

Evelien Callens
Evelien Callens
#2. Second place goes to an international power forward Evelien Callens (188-84, currently plays in Czech Republic). Callens led VS Praha to an easy victory against the fourth-ranked Basket Slovanka MB (8-16) crushing them 74-51 in the Czech Republic ZBL last Sunday. She scored 12 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. VS Praha (11-11) is placed second in A2 group. They ended the series of three consecutive loses. It's Callens' first season with the team. This year Callens averages: 8.6ppg, 4.0rpg, 2FGP: 48.1%, 3FGP: 48.0%(12-25). She is in the roster of the Belgian senior national team.

Ann Wauters
Ann Wauters
#3. The Belgian player who performed third best last week abroad was former international center Ann Wauters (194-80, agency: Josep and Nicolas, currently plays in Turkey), who plays in the Turkish TKBL. Wauters could not help Galatasaray (19-4) to beat Mersin (17-6). It was not her best game last Wednesday. Wauters recorded only 2 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 13 minutes. Galatasaray lost 68-77 on the road to the lower-ranked (#4) Mersin. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. This year Wauters has relatively solid stats: 12.8ppg, 7.6rpg, 1.4apg, 2FGP: 53.8% and FT: 75.5% in the 21 games. She played for the Belgian national team three years ago.

Harriet Bende
Harriet Bende
#4. Center Harriet Bende (186-94, currently plays in France), who plays in the French LF2 (12th division) was not able to help Limoges (4-14) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Bende's good performance Limoges was crushed 91-70 on the opponent's court by the higher-ranked Reims (#6). She scored 11 points. Bende's overall stats this season are: 3.5ppg and 2.4rpg. She has a dual citizenship: DR Congolese and Belgian. Bende used to play for the Belgian national team back in 2011.

Emma Meesseman
Emma Meesseman
#5. International center Emma Meesseman (192-93, agency: LBM Management, currently plays in France) was not able to secure a victory for Villeneuve D'Ascq (9-13) in their game against Bourges (18-4) in the French LFB. She recorded only 4 points in 22 minutes. Villeneuve D'Ascq was crushed 87-48 on the opponent's court by the second-ranked Bourges. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. Meesseman has reliable stats this year: 11.8ppg, 6.1rpg, 1.6apg and 1.1spg in the 16 games. She plays currently for the Belgian national team.

Other top Belgian players, who play abroad:
