Roel Moors
Player of the year is another voting organized by a Belgian newspaper, het Nieuwsblad and there Antwerp Giants player Roel Moors (190-G-78) took the honors.
As with the League MVP, this award is voted by coaches, team managers and press.
This is Roel's 4th time as PoY, he already won the award in 2003, 2004 and 2011. Here Niels Marnegrave came in second followed by Moors's teammate at Antwerp Jean-Marc Mwema.
The Belgian POY was first organized in 1959 and record holder is Rik Samay who won it 10 times.

Prospect of the Year in the Ethisas league was Oostende forward Jean Salumu (193-F-90), who also played in D2 for Oudenaarde.
