The games at this stage are more interesting as they can be crucial for the final standings in Regular Season. Despite we already know who is stronger and who is weaker, there may be still last minute susprises and upsets. Coincidentally all hosts won their games.

The most exciting game of round 24 in the Ethias League took place in Oostende. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of second-best Spirou Charleroi (15-8) to first ranked Base Oostende (17-7) 80-79 in the game for the first place. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Spirou Charleroi. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. 28 personal fouls committed by Spirou Charleroi helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for American guard Matt Lojeski (198-85, college: Hawaii) who saved his team from a defeat with 19 points. Serbian-Montenegrin guard Dusan Djordjevic (195-83, agency: Beo Basket) contributed with 13 points and 5 assists for the winners.
