There will be only one (last) round of the Regular Season in Ethias League.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Base Oostende (19-8) in Quaregnon on Friday night. Visitors were defeated by third ranked Belfius Mons-Hainaut (17-10) 75-63. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Base Oostende. The game was mostly controlled by Belfius Mons-Hainaut. Base Oostende managed to win third quarter 20-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Belfius Mons-Hainaut dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Base Oostende's 26. American players dominated the game. It was a good game for center Brian Qvale (210-88, college: Montana) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field). Guard Quincy Taylor (196-82, college: UAB) contributed with 13 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Power forward Brent Wright (203-78, college: Florida) answered with 11 points and 5 rebounds for Base Oostende. Base Oostende's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Belfius Mons-Hainaut maintains third place with 17-10 record having just two points less than leader Oostende, which they share with Aalstar. Defending champion Base Oostende still keeps top position with eight games lost. Belfius Mons-Hainaut is looking forward to face bottom-ranked VOO Verviers-Pepinster (#8) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Base Oostende will play against Okapi Aalstar (#4) and is hoping to win this game.
