Another down-to-wire game between Sloboda and Spars. It's a real shame that both teams cannot move up to D1. Spars players need to play much stronger league than they have had opportunity to play so far. Tonight's game proved that Tuzla deserves a strong D1 team. A packed gym in Mejdan with Damir Mrsic, Damir Mulaomerovic, Mihajlo "Miki" Vukovic, Senad Muminovic, Azur Korlatovic and other former players and coaches in attendance contributed to a great game. Not a beauty, but a dramatic one for sure. After Sloboda won the first half, guests staged a comeback in the 3rd quarter. It was a basket for basket in the last quarter. Sloboda's guards Avdibegovic and Glavinic made some big shots, especially Avdibegovic draining 5 clutch free throws. Hujdurovic and Gligora had good game, allowing Jocovic and Salic only 10 points combined. But, Nedim Buza made up for Spars' big men lack of scoring by grabing offensive rebounds and scoring 13 points. Buza, however, missed the last 3-point desperation shot at the buzzer. So, this time hosts held on to their lead. Many Sloboda fans recalled a game during the regular season when Sloboda led by 8 points with 50 seconds to go and lost that game. So, it was a breath of relief and celebration at the end of the game. The score is now tied 1:1 in a 3-win series. Next game shall be played on Tuesday at 17:00 in KSC "Amel Beckovic", Vogosca.

Entente Orleans 45 (ProB) inked 26-year old Bosnian international forward Miralem Halilovic (205-103kg-91, agency: PEPI SPORT). He played most recently at GKK Sibenik in Croatian A1 league. TOP 10 BEST IN EUROPE FROM BOSNIA - 1 day ago
TOP 10 BEST IN EUROPE FROM BOSNIA It's hard to come up with a top 10 list like this. I looked at individual success, team success and the all-around kind of impact the player had on his team's season. 1. Ognjen Kuzmic: Red Star Belgrade had a resurgent season and Kuzmic was the best player on the team on the season. He doesn't put up huge numbers but arguably is the best center in Europe and is likely to get great offers from NBA teams this summer   [read more]

CB Canarias add coach Markovic to their roster - 2 days ago
Iberostar Tenerife CB Canarias (Liga Endesa) hired 49-year old Bosnian coach Nenad Markovic. He coached last season at Pinar Karsiyaka in Turkish BSL league. He helped them to make it to the Turkish Cup Semifinals.
AddhereLastSeasonawards The previous (15-16) season Markovic coached at Trabzonspor (also in BSL).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his team made it to the League Semifinals in 2015
