Another down-to-wire game between Sloboda and Spars. It's a real shame that both teams cannot move up to D1. Spars players need to play much stronger league than they have had opportunity to play so far. Tonight's game proved that Tuzla deserves a strong D1 team. A packed gym in Mejdan with Damir Mrsic, Damir Mulaomerovic, Mihajlo "Miki" Vukovic, Senad Muminovic, Azur Korlatovic and other former players and coaches in attendance contributed to a great game. Not a beauty, but a dramatic one for sure. After Sloboda won the first half, guests staged a comeback in the 3rd quarter. It was a basket for basket in the last quarter. Sloboda's guards Avdibegovic and Glavinic made some big shots, especially Avdibegovic draining 5 clutch free throws. Hujdurovic and Gligora had good game, allowing Jocovic and Salic only 10 points combined. But, Nedim Buza made up for Spars' big men lack of scoring by grabing offensive rebounds and scoring 13 points. Buza, however, missed the last 3-point desperation shot at the buzzer. So, this time hosts held on to their lead. Many Sloboda fans recalled a game during the regular season when Sloboda led by 8 points with 50 seconds to go and lost that game. So, it was a breath of relief and celebration at the end of the game. The score is now tied 1:1 in a 3-win series. Next game shall be played on Tuesday at 17:00 in KSC "Amel Beckovic", Vogosca.

Miracles Can Happen Bosnia moves onto World Cup 2019! - 17 hours ago
Miracles Can Happen Bosnia moves onto World Cup 2019! Bosnia has five players in the NBA and not a single one answered the bell to play for Bosnia at World Cup qualifiers. The NBA was not happy about risking its players to play in what it deemed such a minor tournament. Bosnia was left shorthanded before the qualifying tournament even began as other players refused the call up to the national team and were sanctioned for their absence. KSBiH brought in the legendary coach Dusko Vujose...   [read more]
