Aleksej Nesovic (189-PG-85, agency: Beo Basket) celebrate the title in Cyprus. The Bosnian and Herzegovinian player decently contributed to the Final win in the series for his team. After fifteen years the team of PEtrolina AEK Larnakas is returning back to the titles after beating for a third time the team of CytaVision Apoel and succeeded to win the league after the 3-1 in the final series.
In Game 3 AEK won 76:71. Dion Dixon was tonight the MVP of the game with his 20 points , 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals.
CytaVision Apoel started with 22-20 and led 4 points at the halftime. AEK grabbed the lead in the third period and closed the quarter at 57:51. They managed to hold off the opponents and celebrated a 76:71 victory.
Aleksej Nesovic started 2012-2013 season for OKK Beograd (Serbia-A League, starting five) and in Serbian A League averaged 13.8ppg, 2.0rpg, 4.2apg, 2.1spg, 2FGP: 58.6%, 3FGP: 10.8%, FT: 82.9%. In Balkan League after 6 games he showed 11.5ppg, 2.8rpg, 3.3apg, 2.0spg, 2FGP: 46.2%, 3FGP: 29.4%, FT: 69.2%. In Feb.'13 moved to Petrolina AEK Larnaca (Cyprus-Division A) and in 7 games showed 2.3ppg, 1.1rpg, 1.0apg.

BK 04 AC LB Spisska Nova Ves (SBL) strengthened their roster with addition of 24-year old Bosnian center Djordje Ninkovic (210-93). He has played for the last seven seasons at Leotar in Bosnia and Herzegovina Division I, but left the team in Mar.'17. In 18 games he recorded 9.7ppg, 4.5rpg and 1.2apg last season. KK Buducnost Voli Podgorica (Erste Liga) confirmed in their roster 30-year old Montenegrin international swingman Suad Sehovic (197-100kg-87). He is a dual citizen owning also Bosnia and Herzegovina passport. Sehovic has played there for the last four seasons. He managed to play in three leagues last year. In 8 Eurocup games he had 8.1ppg, 3.1rpg, 1.3apg and 1.3spg. Sehovic also played 27 games in ABA League where he recorded 9.7ppg, 3.5rpg and 1.3apg. 2017 TOP 10 YOUNG PROSPECTS IN THE COUNTRY! I only included players born in the year 2000 and after. Many of the older players born in 1998-99 have gotten plenty of exposure already with the BiH U16 and U18 teams. I also excluded Tarik Biberovic and Amar Mehic who have gotten plenty of attention already internationally and are well known to basketball in Europe fans. I slanted my ranking towards older players as they are more of a known commodity, rather than kids who are 13-14 years old.    [read more]
