   #1. This week's number one is an international forward Mirza Teletovic (206-85, agency: Beo Basket, currently plays in NBA). He contributed to an easy victory against the Detroit Pistons (24-47) crushing them 119-82 in the NBA last Monday. Teletovic scored 9 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 23 minutes on the court. The Brooklyn Nets have 41-29 record this season. It's Teletovic's first year with the team. This year he averages: 3.6ppg, 1.9rpg, 2FGP: 42.6%, 3FGP: 34.0% and FT: 87.5% in the 45 games he played so far. Teletovic is currently a member of the Bosnia and Herzegovina senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to an international guard Zack Wright (195-85, college: Central Mo., currently plays in VTB United League), who plays in Russia. He could not help Spartak St.Petersburg (12-6) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Wright's good performance the fourth-placed Spartak St.Petersburg was defeated 88-80 on the road by the lower-ranked BC Donetsk (#6) in the group A of VTB United League. He scored 11 points and added 3 passes. There are only two games left until the end of the VTB United League Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Wright's first season with the team. Wright's overall stats this year are: 9.9ppg, 3.2rpg, 3.4apg, 1.7spg, 2FGP: 64.1%(66-103), 3FGP: 14.3% and FT: 78.6%. He is a naturalized American. Wright is in the roster of the Bosnia and Herzegovina senior national team. Strangely he has never played in Bosnia.

The Bosnia and Herzegovina player who performed third best last week abroad was an experienced international shooting guard Ivan Opacak (201-80, agency: INVICTUS Sports Group, currently plays in Poland). Opacak led PGE Turow to a victory over the fourth-ranked Anwil (16-9) 73-63 in the Polish TBL in Sunday night's game. He was MVP of the game. Opacak scored 18 points and blocked 2 shots in 23 minutes. PGE Turow Zgorzelec (17-8) is placed second in Places 1-6 group. This year Opacak's overall stats are: 9.6ppg, 2.7rpg, 2FGP: 55.3%(52-94), 3FGP: 37.2% and FT: 85.7% in the 24 games. He has a dual citizenship: Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatian. Ex-KK Zenica Celik player is also a member of the Bosnia and Herzegovina senior national team.

   #4. Forward Nihad Djedovic (198-90, also represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Germany), who plays in the German BBL was not able to help ALBA Berlin (16-10) in their last game. Despite Djedovic's good performance ALBA Berlin lost 87-94 in Hagen to the lower-ranked (#8) Phoenix. He recorded 13 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists (made all of his seven free throws) in 25 minutes. This year Djedovic's total stats are: 9.7ppg, 3.9rpg and 2.1apg in the 23 games. He is also Bosnia and Herzegovina national team player.

   #5. Former international guard Marko Popovic (193-84, currently plays in Serbia), who plays in the Serbian A League was not able to secure a victory for Sloga (9-17) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Sloga (#5) was crushed 99-77 in Cacak by the lower-ranked (#9) Borac in the Places 9-17 group. Popovic was the top scorer with 29 points. He also added 8 passes in 40 minutes. The Regular Season already ended. Popovic is currently first on the list of top scorers and also on the list of best passers (first place). He has individually a very good year with high stats. Popovic averages: 18.6ppg, 2.5rpg, 8.1apg and 1.4spg in the 19 games. He is another player who holds two passports: Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbian. Popovic used to play for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team four years ago.

Point guard Nemanja Gordic (192-88, currently plays in Adriatic League) contributed to Partizan's victory against one of league's weakest teams Szolnok (9-17) 83-69 in the Adriatic League on Saturday night. He scored 10 points and added 3 passes. BC Partizan MT:S Beograd (16-10) is placed fourth in the Adriatic League. The Regular Season already ended in the Adriatic League. Gordic has averaged so far 5.7ppg, 1.2rpg and 1.8apg. He is an international player who is currently on the senior Bosnia and Herzegovina National Team roster.

Former U18 international forward Dejan Jeftic (200-89, currently plays in Serbia) was the main contributor in Vrsac's victory against the seventh-ranked Tamis (11-15) 82-66 in the Serbian A League on Saturday night. Jeftic was the best player in that game. He scored 19 points in 38 minutes. KK Vrsac (14-12) is placed first in Places 9-17 group. The Regular Season already ended. Jeftic has relatively good stats this year: 10.8ppg and 3.2rpg in the 11 games. He used to play for the Bosnia and Herzegovina U18 national team six years ago.

Guard Ernest Bremer (194-80, agency: Higher Vision Sports, college: St.Bonaventure, currently plays in Italy), who plays in the Italian SerieA couldn't help Armani Milano (14-10) in their last game on Sunday. Despite Bremer's good performance Armani Milano was edged 81-78 in Cremona by the lower-ranked Vanoli (#9). He scored 11 points. Bremer has averaged so far 6.0ppg, 1.6rpg and 2.2apg. He is a naturalized American. Bremer used to play for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team back in 2011. He played also for Bosna ASA BH Telecom Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina league.

   #9. International center Kenan Bajramovic (205-81, currently plays in Turkey) couldn't help Banvit BK (19-3) in their game against Tofas (10-13) in the Turkish TBL. Bajramovic scored 7 points in 21 minutes. Banvit BK lost 73-80 in Bursa to the lower-ranked (#8) Tofas. They ended the series of twelve consecutive victories. Bajramovic has averaged so far 8.0ppg and 4.9rpg in the 21 games. He is also in the roster of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team.

Point guard Sasa Vasiljevic (180-79, another player represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Ukraine), who plays in the Ukrainian Superleague couldn't help Halychyna (23-15) in their last game. Despite Vasiljevic's very good performance Halychyna was edged 83-81 at home by the lower-ranked (#6) BC Donetsk. He recorded 15 points (made all of his six free throws) in 20 minutes. Vasiljevic's team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And now that game is very crucial. Vasiljevic has averaged so far 8.2ppg, 1.6rpg and 4.0apg in the 38 games. He is an international player who is currently on the senior Bosnia and Herzegovina National Team roster.

   #11. Former international point guard Zlatko Jovanovic (181-84, another player represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Romania) was the major contributor in Timisoara's victory against the 13th-ranked Timba Timosoara 91-88 in a derby game in the Romanian Liga Nationala in Saturday night's game. Jovanovic recorded 17 points and added 4 passes. Jovanovic is currently seventh on the league's list of top scorers and also on the list of best passers (third place). This season he has very high stats. Jovanovic averages: 16.6ppg, 2.5rpg and 6.1apg. He used to play for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team four years ago.

   #12. Former international forward Miralem Halilovic (205-91, currently plays in Croatia) contributed to a KK Zagreb's victory against the eighth-ranked Jolly 78-70 in the Croatian A1 on Sunday night. Halilovic scored 10 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. He has averaged so far 5.7ppg, 2.3rpg and 1.2apg. Halilovic used to play for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team back in 2011.

   #13. International center Jusuf Nurkic (212-94, currently plays in Adriatic League) helped his Croatian team KK Zadar win their game against the league outsider KK Split 85-68 in the Adriatic League in Sunday night's game. He scored 14 points in only a mere 12 minutes. Nurkic has averaged so far 4.1ppg and 2.0rpg in the nine games. Despite he played previously for the Slovenian U16 national team, Nurkic is currently in the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team roster.

   #14. International guard Nemanja Mitrovic (197-90, college: Portland, currently plays in Greece), who plays in the Greek A1 couldn't help Kavala (5-16) in their last game on Saturday. Despite his good performance Kavala was defeated 71-60 on their home court in Kavala by the higher-ranked KAOD (#10). Mitrovic was the second best scorer with 14 points. He has averaged so far 10.0ppg, 2.4rpg and 1.1apg. Mitrovic plays currently for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team.

   #15. Former international guard Diego Kapelan (190-87, college: McNeese St., currently plays in Greece) couldn't help Kolossos in their game against Ikaros in the Greek A1, despite his very good performance last Saturday. He was the top scorer with 16 points (went 6 for 6 at the free throw line) in 20 minutes. But his team lost 69-73. This year Kapelan has relatively solid stats: 11.5ppg in the two games. He used to play for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team two years ago.


The list of other players, who all have Bosnia and Herzegovina passport but never been selected to any of Bosnia and Herzegovina national teams:

   #1. Mirza Begic (217-C-85, currently plays in Spain) led Real Madrid to a victory over the seventh-ranked CAI Zaragoza (14-12) 84-75 in the Spanish ACB in Sunday night's game. He was MVP of the game. Begic scored 20 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 23 minutes. Real Madrid (24-2) is placed first in the ACB. This year Begic averages: 5.5ppg and 2.9rpg in the 26 games he played so far. He has a dual citizenship: Bosnia and Herzegovina and Slovenian.

   #2. Stanko Barac (216-C-86, currently plays in Turkey) contributed to an easy victory against the ninth-ranked Erdemir (9-14) crushing them 78-46 in the Turkish TBL last Sunday. Barac recorded a double-double by scoring 12 points and getting 13 rebounds. He also added 2 blocks. Anadolu Efes Istanbul (19-4) is placed fourth in the TBL. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. This season Barac averages: 4.9ppg and 2.9rpg. He is another player who holds two passports: Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatian.

   #3. Damir Markota (209-F-85, currently plays in Turkey), who plays in the Turkish TBL could not help Besiktas (13-10) in their last game. Despite Markota's good performance Besiktas lost 72-76 in a derby game to the second-ranked Galatasaray. He had a double-double by scoring 11 points and getting the same number of rebounds in 29 minutes. This year Markota averages: 8.1ppg, 6.3rpg and 2.0apg in the 23 games. He has both Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatian nationalities.

   #4. Zoran Planinic (198-G-82, currently plays in Euroleague) contributed to an easy victory against the seventh-ranked Fenerbahce Ulker (2-10) crushing them 99-76 in the Euroleague in Friday night's game. Planinic scored 9 points and added 5 passes. BC Khimky Moscow Region (7-5) is placed second in group F. There are only two games left until the end of the Euroleague Top 16. So now every game will be critical. Planinic is ranked second on the list of the best passers in the league. He has very reliable stats this season: 13.0ppg, 3.9rpg, 6.3apg and 1.2spg. Similarly like Markota and Barac above Planinic also holds two passports: Croatian and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

   #5. Seid Hajric (203-F-83, currently plays in Poland) was the main contributor in an overtime Anwil's victory against the sixth-ranked Energa Czarni (13-12) 78-69 in the Polish TBL last Friday. Hajric was the best player in that game. He recorded a double-double by scoring 16 points and getting 11 rebounds. Anwil Wloclawek (16-9) is placed fourth in Places 1-6 group. Hajric has relatively good stats this season: 11.3ppg and 6.1rpg. He holds both Bosnia and Herzegovina and Polish passports.

   #6. Robert Rothbart (217-C-86, agency: INVICTUS Sports Group, currently plays in Poland) contributed to a Start Gdynia's victory against the sixth-ranked Kotwica 71-67 in the Polish TBL in Saturday night's game. Rothbart was the best player in that game. He recorded a double-double by scoring 29 points and getting 11 rebounds. Rothbart is currently seventh on the list of top scorers and also on the list of best rebounders (fifth place). He has very reliable stats this season: 14.5ppg, 7.6rpg and 1.3bpg. Rothbart has dual citizenship: Bosnia and Herzegovina and Israeli.

   #7. Toni Bizaca (202-F-82, currently plays in Sweden), who plays in the Swedish Basketligan was not able to help Sodertalje Kings (24-9) in their last game. Despite Bizaca's very good performance Sodertalje Kings lost 61-68 on the road to the lower-ranked (#6) Solna Vikings. He was the top scorer with 24 points. Bizaca also added 6 rebounds in 32 minutes. Bizaca has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 16.0ppg, 4.2rpg and 1.4apg in the 31 games.

   #8. Sead Sehovic (196-G/F-89, currently plays in Adriatic League), who plays in Hungary was not able to secure a victory for Szolnok (9-17) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Sehovic's very good performance Szolnok was defeated 83-69 in Beograd by the leading Partizan. He was the top scorer with 16 points. Sehovic also added 6 rebounds and dished 3 assists. Sehovic has relatively good stats this season: 12.2ppg, 4.8rpg and 2.5apg. He holds both Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegrin passports.

   #9. Miroslav Todic (205-F-85, currently plays in Ukraine) was the major contributor in Khimik's victory against the league outsider BC Kyiv crushing them 85-65 in the Ukrainian Superleague last Friday. Todic scored 12 points in a mere 17 minutes. Todic has averaged so far 8.8ppg, 3.2rpg and 1.2spg in the six games. He holds both Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbian passports.

   #10. Marko Keselj (206-SF-88, agency: Beo Basket, currently plays in France) helped Le Mans win their game against the 11th-ranked Limoges CSP Elite 77-69 in the French ProA on Saturday night. Keselj scored 11 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. This season Keselj has relatively solid stats: 12.4ppg and 6.6rpg. He has Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbian nationalities.

KK Dynamic BG Beograd (KLS) inked 30-year old Bosnian ex-international forward Bozo Djurasovic (200-87). He played most recently at HKK Zrinjski HT Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina Division I. In 20 games he was fifth best scorer with impressive 15.8ppg and recorded 7.4rpg and 2.0apg last season. Djurasovic helped them to make it to the semifinals. Zlatorog - Spars 79:68 Zlatorog clinched the Karavank Cup preseason tournament title. They edged Spars Sarajevo in the Final. Nejc Baric (183-PG-97, agency: PEPI SPORT) tossed in 20 points and issued 8 assists to lead the Slovenian side. The teams were all tied at 20 heading into the second period. Girona Basquet adds Kobic to their roster - 4 days ago
EBA newcomer Basquet Girona added to their roster 19-year old Bosnian forward Dino Kobic (200-98). He played last season at the junior team of Zlatorog in Slovenian Liga Nova KBM. In only one game he recorded 5 points, 1 assist, 1 steal and 1 block. Kobic's team made it to the Alpe Adria Final Four. He represented Bosnia at the European Championships U18 in Samsun (Turkey) last year. His stats at that event were 4 games: 0pts. Kobic has played also professionally in Bosnia (Kengur).
