We bring you last week's top performances from Bosnians who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

   #1. This week's number one is an international guard Zack Wright (195-85, college: Central Mo., currently plays in Russia), who plays in the Russian PBL. Wright could not help one of league's weakest teams Spartak St.Petersburg (6-6) in their last game on Monday. Despite his good performance Spartak St.Petersburg was edged 85-82 on the road by the higher-ranked Triumph Lyubertsy (#4). Wright was the second best scorer with 14 points. He also added 4 boards, passed 7 assists and added 4 steals. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. This season Wright averages: 7.9ppg, 3.2rpg, 3.4apg, 1.4spg, 2FGP: 61.3%(38-62), 3FGP: 33.3% and FT: 72.7%. He is a naturalized American. Wright is currently a member of the Bosnia and Herzegovina senior national team. Strangely he has never played in Bosnia.

   #2. Second place goes to an international center Kenan Bajramovic (205-81, currently plays in Turkey). He was not able to help Banvit BK (20-4) in their game against Karsiyaka (18-6) in the Turkish TBL. Despite his good performance last Wednesday Bajramovic scored 10 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Bajramovic's overall stats this season are: 8.0ppg, 4.9rpg, 2FGP: 42.6%, 3FGP: 42.1% and FT: 76.7%. He is in the roster of the Bosnia and Herzegovina senior national team.

   #3. The Bosnia and Herzegovina player who performed third best last week abroad was an international center Jusuf Nurkic (212-94, currently plays in Adriatic League). He was the major contributor in a KK Zadar's victory against the league outsider KK Split (8-18) 85-68 in the Adriatic League in Sunday night's game. Nurkic scored 14 points. KK Zadar (9-17) is placed 12th in the Adriatic League. The Regular Season already ended in the Adriatic League. Nurkic's overall stats this season are: 4.1ppg, 2.0rpg, 2FGP: 57.9%(11-19). He has a dual citizenship: Bosnia and Herzegovina and Slovenian. Despite Nurkic played previously for the Slovenian U16 national team, he is currently a member of the Bosnia and Herzegovina senior national team.

An experienced shooting guard Ivan Opacak (201-80, agency: INVICTUS Sports Group, currently plays in Poland) was not able to secure a victory for PGE Turow (18-9) in their game against Stelmet ZG (18-9) in the Polish TBL. Despite his very good performance on Saturday night Opacak was the top scorer with 15 points. Opacak's overall stats this season are: 9.8ppg and 2.7rpg. He is another player who holds two passports: Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatian. Opacak is also Bosnia and Herzegovina national team player.

   #5. Former international center Barisa Krasic (203-78, currently plays in Croatia) is a teammate of previously mentioned Jusuf Nurkic. But that was another game of his team in Croatian A1 which we would like to mention. Krasic contributed to an overtime KK Zadar's victory against the seventh-ranked Cedevita (0-1) 84-79. He recorded 10 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 22 minutes. It was his first game for KK Zadar this season. His team is placed fourth in Places 1-8 group. Krasic used to play for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team eight years ago.

   #6. Center Esmir Rizvic (213-82, college: Texas Tech, currently plays in Slovenia) led Maribor Messer to a victory over the fifth-ranked Helios (12-9) 64-59 in the Slovenian Telemach League on Saturday night. Rizvic was MVP of the game. He recorded 18 points in 24 minutes. KK Maribor Messer (14-7) is placed third in Places 1-6 group. It's Rizvic's first season with the team. Rizvic has relatively good stats this year: 13.3ppg and 6.2rpg in the 21 games he played so far. He is a former international player as he played for the Bosnia and Herzegovina senior team four years ago.

U18 international power forward Emir Sulejmanovic (204-95, currently plays in Slovenia) managed to help Union Olimpija Ljubljana to win against the fifth-ranked Helios (12-9) 77-63 in the Slovenian Telemach League in Wednesday night's game. Sulejmanovic scored only 4 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. It was his first game for Un.Olimpija this season. His team is placed second in Places 1-6 group. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. Sulejmanovic is also Bosnia and Herzegovina U18 national team player.

Guard Ernest Bremer (194-80, agency: Higher Vision Sports, college: St.Bonaventure, currently plays in Italy) contributed to a Armani Milano's victory against the closely-ranked Banco di Sardegna Sassari (18-7) 85-79 in the Italian SerieA last Saturday. He recorded 7 points and added 3 assists in 24 minutes. EA7 Emporio Armani Milano (15-10) is placed fifth in the SerieA. This year Bremer's overall stats are: 6.1ppg, 1.6rpg and 2.3apg in the 14 games. He is a naturalized American. Bremer used to play for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team back in 2011. He played also for Bosna ASA BH Telecom Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina league.

International forward Nihad Djedovic (198-90, agency: Beo Basket, currently plays in Euroleague) helped his German team ALBA Berlin win their game against the closely-ranked Zalgiris (13-10) crushing them 77-55 in the Euroleague in Friday night's game. Djedovic recorded 8 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists in 26 minutes. ALBA Berlin (7-16) is placed seventh in group E. His team will play only one more game in the Euroleague Top 16. And now that game is very crucial. This year Djedovic's total stats are: 8.8ppg, 3.3rpg, 2.5apg and 1.1spg in the 22 games. He is also in the roster of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team.

Point guard Zlatko Jovanovic (181-84, also represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Romania) couldn't help Timisoara (19-10) in their game against Giurgiu (11-18) in the Romanian Liga Nationala. Despite his very good performance last Thursday Jovanovic was the top scorer with 18 points. He also added 3 assists. Jovanovic's team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And now that game is quite important. Jovanovic is currently ninth on the list of top scorers and also on the list of best passers (third place). He has individually a very good season with high stats. Jovanovic averages: 16.7ppg, 2.4rpg and 6.0apg. He is a former international player as four years ago he still played for the Bosnia and Herzegovina senior national team.

   #11. International center Nedzad Sinanovic (221-83, currently plays in Spain) helped Blancos de Rueda win their game against the closely-ranked UCAM Murcia crushing them 91-57 in the Spanish ACB in Saturday night's game. Sinanovic scored 9 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. He has averaged so far 7.7ppg and 4.3rpg. Sinanovic plays currently for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team.

   #12. International power forward Edin Bavcic (209-84, another player represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Greece) helped KAOD win their game against the closely-ranked Kolossos 74-66 in the Greek A1 on Saturday night. He recorded 9 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Bavcic has averaged so far 6.8ppg and 3.6rpg. He is also in the roster of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team.

   #13. International center Elmedin Kikanovic (210-88, another player represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in VTB United League) couldn't help Enisey Krasnoyarsk in their game against Neptunas in the VTB United League, despite his very good performance in Sunday night's game. Kikanovic had a double-double by scoring 13 points and getting 10 rebounds in 24 minutes. But his team lost 63-77. He has averaged so far 8.5ppg and 3.4rpg in the 18 games. Kikanovic is also Bosnia and Herzegovina national team player.

   #14. International point guard Sasa Vasiljevic (180-79, another player represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Ukraine) helped Halychyna edge the 11th-ranked Dnipro 69-67 in the Ukrainian Superleague on Wednesday night. He scored 9 points in 27 minutes. Vasiljevic has averaged so far 8.2ppg, 1.6rpg and 3.9apg in the 39 games. He plays currently for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team.

   #15. International point guard Nemanja Gordic (192-88, currently plays in Serbia) helped Partizan win their game against the sixth-ranked Mega Vizura crushing them 95-64 in the Serbian A League last Saturday. Gordic recorded only 4 points in 9 minutes on the court. It was his first game for Partizan this season. He is also in the roster of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team.


The list of other players, who all have Bosnia and Herzegovina passport but never been selected to any of Bosnia and Herzegovina national teams:

   #1. Mirza Begic (217-C-85, currently plays in Spain) led Real Madrid to a victory over the seventh-ranked CAI Zaragoza (15-12) 84-75 in the Spanish ACB in Sunday night's game. He was MVP of the game. Begic scored 20 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 23 minutes. Real Madrid (25-2) is placed first in the ACB. This year Begic averages: 5.7ppg and 3.0rpg in the 27 games he played so far. He has a dual citizenship: Bosnia and Herzegovina and Slovenian.

   #2. Stanko Barac (216-C-86, currently plays in Turkey) contributed to an easy victory against the ninth-ranked Erdemir (9-15) crushing them 78-46 in the Turkish TBL last Sunday. Barac recorded a double-double by scoring 12 points and getting 13 rebounds. He also added 2 blocks. Anadolu Efes Istanbul (20-4) is placed second in the TBL. It was his team's sixth consecutive victory in a row. This season Barac averages: 4.9ppg and 2.9rpg. He is another player who holds two passports: Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatian.

   #3. Bojan Bogdanovic (203-SG-89, currently plays in Turkey), who plays in the Turkish TBL could not help Fenerbahce Ulker (20-4) in their last game. Despite Bogdanovic's very good performance Fenerbahce Ulker was edged 91-88 on the road by the lower-ranked (#4) Banvit BK. He was the second best scorer with 15 points. Bogdanovic also added 6 passes in 30 minutes. Bogdanovic has relatively good stats this year: 13.9ppg, 2.4rpg and 1.9apg in the 21 games. He has both Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatian nationalities.

   #4. Toni Bizaca (202-F-82, currently plays in Sweden) was the main contributor in a Sodertalje Kings' victory against the closely-ranked Solna Vikings (22-16) crushing them 98-74 in the Swedish Basketligan last Wednesday. Bizaca was MVP of the game. He scored 31 points (!!!), grabbed 8 rebounds and dished 4 assists in 34 minutes. Sodertalje Kings (27-10) is placed third in the Basketligan. Bizaca has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 16.4ppg, 4.3rpg and 1.4apg in the 32 games.

   #5. Suad Sehovic (196-G/F-87, currently plays in Ukraine), who plays in the Ukrainian Superleague was not able to help one of league's weakest teams one of league's weakest teams Khimik (24-14) in their last game on Wednesday. Despite Sehovic's very good performance Khimik was defeated 91-79 in Mariupol by the higher-ranked Azovmash (#3). He was the top scorer with 20 points. Sehovic also added 4 rebounds. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Sehovic's first season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year: 11.5ppg, 5.3rpg, 1.3apg and 1.3spg. Sehovic also holds two passports: Montenegrin and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

   #6. Damir Markota (209-F-85, currently plays in Turkey), who plays in the Turkish TBL was not able to secure a victory for Besiktas (14-10) in their last game. Despite his good performance Besiktas lost 72-76 in a derby game to the second-ranked Galatasaray. Markota had a double-double by scoring 11 points and getting the same number of rebounds in 29 minutes. This year his overall stats are: 7.9ppg, 6.1rpg and 2.0apg in the 24 games. Markota has dual citizenship: Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatian.

   #7. Zoran Planinic (198-G-82, currently plays in Russia) contributed to a 1-point Khimky's victory against one of league's weakest teams Krasnie Krilya 82-81 in the Russian PBL on Monday night. Planinic scored 8 points and added 3 passes in 29 minutes. Planinic is currently second on the list of best passers with 5.0apg. This year his other stats are: 12.3ppg and 2.9rpg in the nine games. Planinic has Croatian and Bosnia and Herzegovina nationalities.

   #8. Sead Sehovic (196-G/F-89, currently plays in Hungary) contributed to an easy victory against the fourth-ranked Kaposvari 103-85 in the Hungarian A Division last Wednesday. Sehovic recorded 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists in 29 minutes. Sehovic has relatively good stats this year: 15.0ppg, 4.0rpg and 3.0apg in the three games. He holds both Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegrin passports.

   #9. Miroslav Todic (205-F-85, currently plays in Ukraine) is a teammate of previously mentioned Suad Sehovic. But that was another game of his team in Ukrainian Superleague which we would like to mention. Todic contributed to a 3-point Khimik's victory against the closely-ranked BC Donetsk 93-90. He scored 11 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. Todic's overall stats this season are: 9.1ppg, 3.0rpg and 1.3spg. He holds both Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbian passports.

   #10. Matija Ceskovic (192-G-81, currently plays in Romania) contributed to a Targu Mures' victory against the tenth-ranked CSU Sibiu 88-74 in the Romanian Liga Nationala on Thursday night. Ceskovic was the best player in that game. He scored 19 points. This season Ceskovic has relatively solid stats: 14.1ppg, 1.6rpg and 2.6apg. He has Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatian nationalities.

HKK Siroki Primorka (Division I) added to their roster 25-year old American point guard George Marshall (186-86kg-92, college: South Dakota State). He played last season at Aris Leeuwarden in Dutch Eredivisie. In 26 games he recorded 13.8ppg, 2.5rpg and 3.6apg. KK Bihacsigned 23-year old American forward Torin Washington (201-104kg-94). He just graduated from William Woods (NAIA). In 22 games he had 11.1ppg and 6.1rpg last season.
