American-Italian forward Angelo Caloiaro (203-F-89) had an amazing evening in the last round for Rilski Sportist, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 21. The 23-year old player had a double-double of 21 points and 13 rebounds, while his team outclassed Spartak Pleven (#9, 5-16) with 26-point margin 103-77. Rilski Sportist maintains the 3rd position in Bulgarian NBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Rilski Sportist will need more victories to improve their 15-6 record. In the team's last game Caloiaro had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Rilski Sportist, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Angelo Caloiaro averages this season 9.3ppg and 5.3rpg.
The second best player in last round's games was 24-year old American James Tyler (218-C-88) of Chernomorets. Tyler had a very good evening with a double-double of 19 points and 15 rebounds. Of course Chernomorets cruised to a 83-71 relatively comfortable win over U20 (#10, 0-21). Chernomorets' 8th position in the standings has not changed. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 8-13 record. Tyler is a newcomer at Chernomorets, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 18.9ppg (#2). He also registered 13.6 boards per game. Former star Tyler is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.
Third on the list of top players last round was another Rilski Sportist's star - Serbian guard Branko Mirkovic (190-G-82, agency: Global Sports Plaza). Mirkovic scored 27 points and passed four assists. He was another key player of Rilski Sportist, helping his team with a 103-77 easy win against the lower-ranked Spartak Pleven (#9, 5-16). Rilski Sportist needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 15 victories and 6 lost games. Mirkovic has a great season in Bulgaria. After 20 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 16.3ppg (7th best) and assists with 5.6apg (3rd best). He also has FGP: 54.5% and 3PT: 41.9%.

We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy. The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
