The hosts trailed by 5 points at the halftime before their 41-32 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Tundja Yambol had a 27-16 advantage in offensive rebounds. The game without a history. Levski Sofia led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Beroe's 30. They outrebounded Beroe 52-35 including a 39-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. Levski Sofia looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. International Pavel Ivanov (200-88) notched 11 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and international forward Dimitar Dimitrov (203-93, agency: Interperformances) supported him with 10 points and 8 rebounds. Four Levski Sofia players scored in double figures. Levski Sofia's coach Konstantin Papazov felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. BC Beroe (NBL) agreed terms with 19-year old combo guard Nikolay Titkov (184-70kg-98). For the last two seasons he has played for his hometown club Dunav Ruse in the Bulgarian lower tier Division A. Despite his young age, Titkov has had an impressive career so far.
