The game was mostly controlled by Rilski Sportist. Tundja Yambol managed to win second period 19-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Rilski Sportist forced 20 Tundja Yambol turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of naturalized Serbian guard Branko Mirkovic (190-82, agency: Global Sports Plaza) who helped to win the game recording 18 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. American point guard Terry Smith (185-86, college: Mercyhurst) contributed with 19 points and 4 assists for the winners. Four Rilski Sportist players scored in double figures. Montenegrin power forward Nemanja Milosevic (204-87, college: W.Kentucky, agency: Interperformances) answered with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists and international Martin Durchev (204-87, agency: FCM) added 18 points and 4 assists in the effort for Tundja Yambol. LNB newcomer Morges-Saint-Prex BBC added to their roster 33-year old FYR Macedonian-Bulgarian power forward Tomcho Sokolov (205-105kg-84). He played most recently at KK Strumica in FYR Macedonian Prva Liga. In 13 games he recorded 10.0ppg and 4.8rpg in 2015-16 season. Beroe - Lukoil Academic 86-85 Beroe overcame Lukoil Academic 86-85 in SuperCup 2017. Both teams showed completely different two quarters of the first half, Lukoil Academic taking a 31-19 lead after the first 10 minutes and then Beroe responding with 23-11 surge in the second frame.
