Seventh-ranked KK Zagreb (2-8) made lots of trouble for third ranked KK Zadar (7-3) on Tuesday. The visitors from Zadar managed to secure only two-point victory 82-80. However their fans expected much easier game. The guests trailed by 1 point after three quarters before their 25-22 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Marko Ramljak (201-93, agency: Interperformances) fired a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. American Romeo Travis (201-84, college: Akron) chipped in 10 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. KK Zadar's coach Ante Nazor used entire bench in such tough game. International Marko Car (188-85) produced 19 points and 7 assists for lost side. KK Zadar maintains third position with 7-3 record having just two points less than leader Djuro Djakovic. KK Zagreb at the other side keeps the seventh place with eight games lost. KK Zadar is looking forward to face KK Split (#6) at home in the next round. KK Zagreb's supporters also look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Zagreb Cibona.
Leader Cibona delivered the ninth victory. This time they crushed bottom-ranked Alkar Sinj (0-10) 102-72 in Zagreb. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard D.J. Strawberry (196-85, college: Maryland) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 5 rebounds. Jerel Blassingame contributed with 15 points and 4 assists for the winners. Guard Antonio Bilic (190-86) replied with 15 points for Alkar Sinj. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Cibona have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 9-1 record. Alkar Sinj at the other side still closes the standings with ten games lost. Cibona's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Zagreb to the arena KK Zagreb.

Cedevita will meet at home Kvarner 2010 (#4) in the next round. KK Split will play against KK Zadar and hope to secure a win.

Cedevita led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Cedevita outrebounded KK Split 34-22 including 26 on the defensive glass. Center Miro Bilan (215-89) had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international center Luksa Andric (208-85, agency: Beo Basket) chipped in 11 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Cedevita's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
