   #1. This week's number one is former international center Ante Tomic (217-87, agency: XL Basketball Agency, currently plays in Spain). He contributed to a 1-point Regal FC Barcelona's victory against the league leader Real Madrid (30-4) 72-71 in the Spanish ACB in Tuesday night's game. Tomic scored 8 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 26 minutes on the court. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Regal FC Barcelona (23-11) is placed third in the ACB. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. It's Tomic's first season with the team. Tomic belongs to league's best rebounders and is ranked #5 with 6.2rpg. He also averaged so far 11.3ppg, 1.5apg, 2FGP: 61.5%(206-335) and FT: 62.4% in the 42 games he played so far. Tomic played for the Croatian senior national team two years ago.

   #2. Second place goes to an experienced former international swingman Mario Stojic (198-80, agency: Interperformances, currently plays in Belgium). He led Base Oostende to a victory against the closely-ranked Belfius Mons-Hainaut 81-70 in the Belgian Ethias League last Monday. Stojic scored 14 points. Telenet Oostendeis placed eighth in the Ethias League. Stojic has relatively good stats this season: 10.5ppg, 2.6rpg, 1.5apg, 2FGP: 56.6%(77-136), 3FGP: 39.8% and FT: 78.6%. He has a dual citizenship: Croatian and German. Stojic played for the Croatian national team in 2009.

The Croatian player who performed third best last week abroad was former international point guard Dontaye Draper (180-84, college: Charleston, currently plays in Spain) faced previously mentioned Ante Tomic in the Spanish ACB last game. Draper, who plays in the Spanish ACB. He could not help Real Madrid (30-4) to beat Regal FC Barcelona (23-11). It was not Draper's best game last Tuesday. He scored only 3 points in 10 minutes. The league leader Real Madrid was edged 72-71 at home by the lower-ranked (#3) Regal FC Barcelona. This year Draper averages: 3.7ppg, 1.1rpg, 1.5apg, 2FGP: 46.0%, 3FGP: 39.0% and FT: 76.0% in the 36 games. He is a naturalized American. Draper played for the Croatian national team two years ago. He used to play for Cedevita Zagreb in Croatian league.

   #4. Forward Damjan Rudez (203-86, agency: FCM, currently plays in Spain) was not able to help CAI Zaragoza (21-13) in their game against Real Madrid (30-4) in the Spanish ACB. Rudez scored 8 points. CAI Zaragoza was defeated 77-63 on their home court in Zaragoza by the leading Real Madrid. This season Rudez has relatively solid stats: 10.7ppg, 1.8rpg and 1.2apg. He is also Croatian national team player.

   #5. International center Darko Planinic (211-90, currently plays in Israel) managed to help Maccabi Electra Tel-Aviv in a victory against the fifth-ranked Hapoel Jerusalem (13-14) 78-72 in the Israeli Winner League last Monday. Planinic scored only 1 points in 5 minutes on the court. Maccabi Electra Tel-Aviv (22-5) is placed first in Places 1-6 group. This year Planinic's overall stats are: 3.2ppg and 2.3rpg in the 23 games. He plays currently for the Croatian national team.

Cedevita used a huge 25-3 run spanning the first and second quarter to take control of the contest with Alkar in HT Premijer Liga Round 2. Zabok went on a 13-0 run late in the second quarter to beat Vrijednosnice Osijek. Hermes Analitica defeated Jazine 75-72 in lone Saturday game of HT Premijer Liga Round 2. Jazine used a 12-0 that turn a one-point deficit into a 22-11 lead, their largest advantage of the contest.
