Today, right after KK Cedevita Zagreb's game against BC Partizan MT:S Beograd, coach Aleksandar Petrovic (agency: Beo Basket ) resigned from the head coach position stating: "Since we lost the chance to fight for the final four, I think it's better and smarter for the team to end the season with another coach since I wasn't able to do what I personally expected which is to win the cup and compete for the final four until the very end. And this is the reason why I think it no longer makes sense for me to be on the KK Cedevita Zagreb's bench."

KK Cedevita Zagreb's sports director Matej Mamic commented the situation and announced Jaksa Vulic as a replacement for now: "I have to admit that this resigning surprised me, and in this moment we have to keep moving. Jaksa will be leading the team...We will see, in this moment it's very hard for me to say something because the things are clearly getting out of control and we have to sit down and see what are we going to do."

Coach Petrovic is the second coach this season that resigned from KK Cedevita Zagreb's head coach position.

Ante Djugum
Interview with Ante Djugum - May 16, 2013

Ante Djugum (211-C-88, agency: Court Side) made his first basketball steps in KK Ploce. KK Zadar recognized and recruited him while he was a cadet. As a very perspective player, Djugum was called to yougster national team where he had a solid role. A bad work of the KK Zadar club administration lost a lot of talented players. Djugum is one of them. He went to the city rival-Borik Puntamika which was another step to young Djugum to become a international player   [read more]
