Croatia edge Netherlands to finish second in Spain at the International Tournament with 4 participating teams. Croatia won 84:63 and finished with 2-1 record. Spain meanwhile triumphed at the home tournament.
Croatia started the game with 26-8 lead, but allowed the opponents to recover in the second frame. Netherlands erupted with a 30-12 surge and tied the game at 38:38 at the halftime. Croatia meanwhile dominated the second half and posted two victories. They needed a 23-12 push in the third quarter and finished the game with 23-13 rally in the last stanza.
Marija Rezan (198-C-89) stepped up with 17 points for the winners, while Ana Lelas (183-G/F-83) added 15. Ivankovic, Emanuela Salopek (178-SG-87, agency: Regeneracom Sports) and Ciglar added 10 each, whilst Antonija Misura (178-F-88, agency: 1x1 Sports) brought 7. Tanya Broering (178-G-84) led the Dutch side with 17 points and De Kleijn scored 10. De Roos netted 9, whilst Van Grinsven had 8.

Pallacanestro Femminile Broni (Serie A1) added to their roster 25-year old Croatian international power forward Nina Premasunac (188-92, agency: LBM Management) from Carispezia La Spezia. In 23 Serie A1 games in Italy she recorded 12.3ppg, 8.0rpg and 1.4spg last season.
