Croatia recorded the second straight win over Hungary in the exhibition series. Matea Vrdoljak (183-F-85) stepped up with 17 points and 12 rebounds to lead the winners.
Croatia dominated from the tip off. They fired 22 points in the opening quarter to build an 11-point lead. Hungary increased the tempo in the second period but Croatia matched it perfectly. They fired 26 points to ensure a 13-point lead at halftime. Croatia finished off their opponents in the third period. Croatia went on a 25:10 run to pile up a massive 28-point advantage at the final intermission. Hungary went on a strong 24:12 rally in the fourth period but could not rescue this one. Iva Ciglar (168-PG-85, agency: Data Plus Group) netted 16 points, while Antonija Misura (178-F-88, agency: 1x1 Sports) added 13 points for the winners. Tijana Krivacevic (194-F-90) answered with 20 points for Hungary. Krisztina Raksanyi (181-G-91) chipped in 12 points in the loss.

Medvescak never trailed and allowed three ties in Game 2 of the 2017 Croatian Play-Off Finals, taking down Tresnjevka 2009 74-59 on road. This give Medvescak a 2-0 lead in the best of the five series. Anja Majstorovic (184-SF-94) scored 24 points, Patricija Bura (188-C-96) 14 and Iva Borovic (170-G-88) 12.
