Defending champion Gospic and Euroleague side Novi Zagreb both claimed wins away from home courts in the semifinals round of best of three series to close out their series.
Medvescak (4)-Gospic (1) 51-52 (0-2): Medvescak scored 10 straight points to take a lead 19-10 late in the first quarter and they still were up 42-34 midway through the third quarter. Gospic made a 12-0 run to take a lead 46-42 early in the final peroid never looked back from there. Medvescak cut the deficit to one point, 51-52, on a shot by Iva Borovic (170-G-88). Gospic lost the ball and Medvescak had the chance to tie the series, but Anja Majstorovic (184-SF-94), Ruzica Dzankic (179-SF-94) and Petra Peric (163-G-85) all missed the game winning shots. Josipa Bura (185-C-85, agency: IPSA) scored 12 points for Gospic and Monika Bosilj (178-G-85, college: FIU) added 11 points. Medvescak's lone player in double digits was Ivana Tikvic (189-C-94) with 20 points and 16 rebounds.
Sibenik Jolly (3)-Novi Zagreb (2) 54-77 (0-2): After trailing 10-15 midway through the first quarter, Novi Zagreb scored 13 straight points to take a lead 23-15 and never looked back the rest of the game. Sibenik trailed 32-40 at the half. They cut the deficit to 44-47 and going into the final quarter Sibenik were ahead 48-53. Novi Zagreb opened the last period with a crucial 9-0 run that pushed their advantage to 62-48. Latoya Williams (190-C-87, college: Chipola JC) finished with 22 points and 8 rebounds, Mirna Mazic (188-F-85, agency: 1x1 Sports, college: Richmond) scored 12 points and Ana Cacic (175-G-86) added 10 points. Sibenik was led by Kristina Benic (180-F-88) with her 18 points and Luca Ivankovic (207-C-87) posted 11 points.

Croatian National team member Lana Packovski (170-G-94) will continue her career in Poland. She signed a one-year contract with JAS-FBG Zagebie Sosnowiec. Packovski arrives from Italian side Fassi Albino, for whom she averaged 12.9 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists (ranked fifth) and 2.3 steals in 27 Serie A2 League games last season. BK Handicap Brno (ZBL) landed 27-year old Croatian international guard Tea Buzov (176-90). It is actually her comeback to Handicap as she has played here before. Buzov played most recently at Visby Ladies in Swedish Damligan. In 21 games she averaged 8.9ppg, 4.1rpg and 2.4apg last season. MTK Budapest (A Division) strengthened their roster with addition of 23-year old Croatian forward Andrijana Cvitkovic (190-94, agency: Interperformances). Cvitkovic just graduated from Dayton (NCAA).
