Luca
Ivankovic
Former international center Luca Ivankovic (207-C-87) had a great game in the last round for Jolly and that's her to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 14.
The 25-year old center had a double-double of 30 points and fourteen rebounds, while her team outclassed Zadar (#7, 6-8) with 27-point margin 90-63. Jolly maintains the 3rd position in Croatian A1. They are still close to the very top. Jolly would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 11-2 record. Ivankovic has many years of experience at Jolly, through which he has constantly improved. Ivankovic has impressive league stats. She is league's best scorer averaging so far 22.0ppg and leads league in rebounds with 10.9rpg. Ivankovic is in league's top in and averages solid 1.5bpg and 73.9% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 25-year old American center Latoya Williams (190-C-87) of second-ranked Novi Zagreb. Williams impressed basketball fans with 32 points and 5 rebounds. Of course she lead Novi Zagreb to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Split (#5, 6-8) 123-56. Novi Zagreb's second position in the standings has not changed. Her team belongs to top of the standings with 13-1 record and is considered one of the main candidates for the league title. Williams is a newcomer at Novi Zagreb and it seems she did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 16.4ppg (#6). She also registered 4.7 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was Maja Ramljak (185-C-88) of Rockwool Pula (#8). Ramljak scored 22 points and grabbed seventeen rebounds (!!!). She was a key player of Rockwool Pula, leading her team to a 76-67 win against slightly lower-ranked Studenec Omis (#10, 4-9). The chances of Rockwool Pula not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 9 games, recording just five victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Ramljak could try to bring Rockwool Pula's a little bit higher in the standings. Ramljak has individually a great season in Croatia. After 14 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 7.3rpg (9th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Martina Zubak (191-C-83) of Rockwool Pula - 15 points and 18 rebounds
5. Ivona Matic (188-F/C-86) of Ragusa - 17 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists
6. Antonija Misura (178-F-88) of Jolly - 17 points, 5 rebounds and 12 assists
7. Tea Buzov (176-G-90) of Rockwool Pula - 13 points, 4 rebounds and 12 assists
8. Ana Semren (190-C-88) of Jolly - 21 points and 8 rebounds
9. Lea Fabbri (170-G-85) of Tresnjevka - 24 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists
10. Gordana Bedalov (191-C-84) of Novi Zagreb - 18 points and 9 rebounds

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
