Mirna Mazic
Former international forward Mirna Mazic (188-F-85, agency: 1x1 Sports) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's second-best Novi Zagreb and that's her to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 17.
The 27-year old forward had a double-double of 18 points and ten rebounds, while her team outclassed Studenec Omis (#11, 4-11) with 37-point margin 94-57. Novi Zagreb maintains the 2nd position in Croatian A1. Novi Zagreb has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 16-1. It's Mazic's second year at Novi Zagreb and it's hard to imagine this team without her. University of Richmond graduate has very impressive stats this year. Mazic is in league's top in rebounds (6th best: 8.7rpg) and averages solid 58.0% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 25-year old former international center Luca Ivankovic (207-C-87) of Jolly. Ivankovic impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 21 points and 11 rebounds. Of course she lead Jolly to another comfortable win outscoring slightly lower-ranked Split (#5, 7-10) 88-45. Jolly's 3rd position in the standings has not changed. Her team lost just two games this season, while they won 14 matches. Ivankovic is one of the most experienced players at Jolly and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 22.3ppg (#1). She also registered 11.2 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was another Jolly's star - international forward Kristina Benic (180-F-88). Benic showcased her all-around game by recording 14 points, nine rebounds and five assists in the last round. She was another key player of Jolly, helping her team with a 88-45 easy win against slightly lower-ranked Split (#5, 7-10). Jolly is closer and closer to the top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 14-2 record is not that bad... Benic has a great season in Croatia. After 17 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 3.3apg (5th best). She also has 2.9spg and FGP: 50.8%.

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
