Montenegro and Croatia clashed in the exhibition encounter in Crikvenica. Montenegro stole a narrow victory at the end. Jelena Skerovic (176-G-80, agency: Josep and Nicolas) delivered 20 points to lead the visitors.
Croatia dominated in the opening frame. They quickly jumped to a 16:8 lead. The hosts secured a 24:16 advantage after ten minutes. Montenegro cut the deficit to 4 points midway throughout the second term but Croatia bounce back. They finished the first half up by 11 points 45:34. However Montenegro found their way back into this one. The visitors trimmed the deficit at just 6-point mark at the final break. Montenegro narrowed the distance in the final minutes. It all came down to the final seconds when Snezana Aleksic (173-G-89) hit a three-pointer and won the game for Montenegro. Iva Perovanovic (188-C/F-83) and Ana Turcinovic (190-C-93) delivered 14 points each for the winners. Jelena Ivezic (182-F/G-84) answered with 20 points for Croatia. Ana Lelas (183-G/F-83) had 15 points in the loss.
