Bolds
28-year old guard Demarius Bolds (190-G-84, agency: I.D.S. Law) had an amazing evening in the last round for BC Kolin and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 6 (Second Stage).
He had a double-double of 27 points and 13 rebounds, while his team beat BK Pardubice (#3, 18-11) 88-82. BC Kolin is placed at 5th position in Czech Republic league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier in Second Stage. BC Kolin will need more victories to improve their 17-13 record. In the team's last game Bolds had a remarkable 55.6% from 2-point range. He turned to be BC Kolin's top player in his first season with the team. Missouri Western State College graduate has very impressive stats this year. Bolds is in league's top in points (3rd best: 18.3ppg), rebounds (8th best: 7.0rpg) and averages solid 50.6% FGP. Worth to mention Bolds played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.

Second best performed player last round was Brandon Fields (193-G-88) of Levice. He is American guard in his first season at Levice. In the last game Fields recorded impressive 30 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists. It was enough for Levice to edge slightly lower-ranked USK Praha (#-4, 15-18) by 5 points 70-65. This victory allowed Levice to move up to -5th position in A2. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 18-15 record is not bad and everything may still change. Fields is a newcomer at Levice and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 16.8ppg (#6). He also recorded 3.1 assists per game.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Ondrej Kohout (204-F-91) of league's second-best BK Prostejov. Kohout scored 20 points and grabbed thirteen rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of BK Prostejov, leading his team to a 82-72 win against #4 ranked NH Ostrava in a game of the week. BK Prostejov needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in A1. Their record at this point is 19 victories and 10 lost games. Kohout has a great season in Czech Republic. After 29 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 7.3rpg (6th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Roman Zachrla (200-F-87) of J.Hradec - 31 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists
5. Kamil Svrdlik (206-PF-86) of BK Prostejov - 20 points, 11 rebounds and 2 assists
6. Travis Nelson (208-C-87) of BK Pardubice - 24 points and 10 rebounds
7. Roman Marko (194-SG-86) of BK Prostejov - 21 points and 8 rebounds
8. Brian Addison (205-F-87) of Levice - 20 points and 10 rebounds
9. Phil Martin (193-G) of B&W Opava - 23 points and 11 rebounds
10. Corey Muirhead (197-F-83) of BK Pardubice - 17 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
