The Second Stage in NBL just ended.

The most important game in the last round took place in Ostrava between third ranked NH Ostrava (20-14) and sixth ranked BK Decin (19-15) on Saturday night. NH Ostrava was defeated by BK Decin in a tough game at home 75-79. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of NH Ostrava. The guests trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 41-35 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Bosnian forward Admir Alic (197-84) scored 22 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and swingman Lubos Stria (197-81) chipped in 12 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. BK Decin's coach Pavel Budinsky used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side American guard Chadwick-Farrell Barnes (190-83, college: New Orleans) responded with 14 points. BK Decin moved-up to fourth place, which they share with BK Pardubice. NH Ostrava at the other side keeps the third position with 14 games lost.

American point guard Tweety Carter (180-86, college: Baylor) notched 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and Tomas Pomikalek supported him with 18 points. CEZ Nymburk's coach Ronen Ginzburg felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 17 points and 8 rebounds (made all of his nine free throws !!!) by American center Travis Nelson (208-87, college: Minnesota St.) did not help to save the game for BK Pardubice. CEZ Nymburk have an impressive eight-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 33-1 record. BK Pardubice lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with 15 games lost. They share the position with BK Decin.
The game between Top Four teams took place in Nymburk. First ranked host CEZ Nymburk (33-1) smashed their biggest opponent BK Prostejov (21-13). Tweety Carter fired 20 points and 4 assists for the winners. Coach Ronen Ginzburg's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Ondrej Kohout produced 8 points and 12 rebounds for lost side. CEZ Nymburk have an impressive eight-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 33-1 record. Loser BK Prostejov keeps the second place with 13 games lost.

In the last game of round 10 BC Kolin lost to BK Prostejov on the opponent's court 87-96.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 19 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists by Roman Marko of BK Prostejov.

The game between Top Four teams took place in Pardubice. 4th ranked host BK Pardubice (19-15) was smashed by first ranked CEZ Nymburk (33-1) 100-68. The game without a history. CEZ Nymburk led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by BK Pardubice's players. BK Pardubice was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. American point guard Tweety Carter (180-86, college: Baylor) notched 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and the former international forward Tomas Pomikalek (200-89) supported him with 18 points. Five CEZ Nymburk players scored in double figures. CEZ Nymburk's coach Ronen Ginzburg felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 17 points and 8 rebounds (made all of his nine free throws !!!) by American center Travis Nelson (208-87, college: Minnesota St.) did not help to save the game for BK Pardubice. Very expected game when 6th ranked BC Kolin (18-16) was defeated on the road by second ranked BK Prostejov (21-13) 96-87 on Sunday. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 25-13. But BC Kolin won second period 20-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when BK Prostejov won last quarter 90-21. Naturalized Slovakian Roman Marko (194-86) fired 19 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. The former international guard Pavel Slezak (186-84) chipped in 25 points and 5 rebounds. American guard Demarius Bolds (190-84, college: Missouri Western, agency: I.D.S. Law) produced 27 points and forward Martin Kriz (201-93) added 16 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. Five BK Prostejov and four BC Kolin players scored in double figures. BK Prostejov maintains second position with 21-13 record having just two point less than leader CEZ Nymburk. BC Kolin lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with 16 games lost.
