The game between second ranked USK Praha (16-19) and sixth ranked Basketbal Svitavy (11-24) was the most important one in the last round on Saturday night. USK Praha was defeated by Basketbal Svitavy in a tough game in Svitavy 82-90. Basketbal Svitavy forced 21 USK Praha turnovers. Polish center Pawel Mroz (215-84) fired 27 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American point guard Michael Deloach (183-86, college: Norfolk St.) chipped in 17 points and 7 rebounds. Basketbal Svitavy's coach Lubomir Ruzicka used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Congolese-French forward Boris Meno (203-83, college: Davidson, agency: Two Points) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds for lost side. Basketbal Svitavy moved-up to fifth place in Group A2. USK Praha at the other side keeps the second position with 19 games lost. Basketbal Svitavy are looking forward to face BK Usti nad Labem (#7) on the road in the next round. USK Praha will play against Levharti Chomutov (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

At the losing side Jeremiah Wilson responded with 20 points and 8 rebounds. CEZ Nymburk have a solid series of four victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place in Group A1 with 29-1 record. NH Ostrava lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the fourth position with 13 games lost. They share it with BC Kolin. CEZ Nymburk will meet league's second-placed BK Prostejov on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. NH Ostrava will play against BC Kolin and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Praha. Second ranked USK Praha faced 3rd placed B&W Opava. Host USK Praha (16-19) smashed guests from Opava (14-21) 86-57. It was an exceptional evening for Boris Meno who led the winners and scored 24 points and 9 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws). The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. USK Praha maintains second place in Group A2 with 16-19 record having six points less than leader Levice. B&W Opava at the other side keeps the third position with 21 games lost. USK Praha's next round opponent will be Levharti Chomutov (#4) at home. B&W Opava will play against BK Lions Hradec in J.Hradec.
Leader Levice delivered the twentieth first victory on Saturday night. This time they crushed 5th ranked BK Lions Hradec (10-25) 101-61. Willie Kemp fired a double-double by scoring 19 points, 5 rebounds, 11 assists and 5 steals for the winners. BK Lions Hradec's coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Levice (21-15) have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain first place in Group A2. BK Lions Hradec lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth position with 25 games lost. Levice will have a break next round. BK Lions Hradec will play at home against B&W Opava (#3).

Other games of round 7 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
In Group A1 BK Decin was defeated by BC Kolin in a road game 76-66.
In Group A2 B&W Opava beat Usti n/Labem at home 82-71. Svitavy was destroyed by Chomutov on the opponent's court 87-68. Usti n/Labem unfortunately lost to Levice in a home game 72-81.

BK Pardubice - BK Prostejov 84-74

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Pardubice. Third ranked BK Pardubice faced their biggest opponent BK Prostejov. Host BK Pardubice (19-12) defeated guests from Prostejov (19-11) 84-74. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of BK Prostejov. The game was mostly controlled by BK Pardubice. BK Prostejov was better in second period 14-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. BK Pardubice forced 19 BK Prostejov turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Petr Bohacik (205-85) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 8 rebounds. Levice dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to BK Lions Hradec's 24 and had 27 for 40 from the free-throw line, while BK Lions Hradec only scored ten points from the stripe.
