Here is the weekly review of the top performing Czech Republic players, who play currently abroad.

   #1. This week's number one is an international center Ondrej Balvin (216-92, currently plays in Spain), who plays in the Spanish ACB. He could not help one of league's weakest teams Cajasol (12-22) in their last game. Despite Balvin's good performance Cajasol lost 68-76 at home to the higher-ranked (#14) Baloncesto Fuenlabrada. He was the second best scorer with 14 points. Balvin also added 7 rebounds in 29 minutes on the court. The Regular Season already ended. This year Balvin averages: 3.6ppg, 2.9rpg, 2FGP: 59.2%(42-71) and FT: 60.6% in the 29 games he played so far. He is currently a member of the Czech Republic senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to an international shooting guard Pavel Pumprla (198-86, currently plays in Spain). Pumprla led Blusens Monbus to a victory against the closely-ranked Gescrap BB (19-15) 79-73 in the Spanish ACB last Sunday. He recorded 11 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. Blusens Monbus Obradoiro CAB (18-16) is placed eighth in the ACB. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Pumprla's first season with the team. Pumprla's overall stats this year are: 6.5ppg, 3.3rpg, 1.2apg, 1.1spg, 2FGP: 57.6%(76-132), 3FGP: 33.3%. He is in the roster of the Czech Republic senior national team.

The Czech Republic player who performed third best last week abroad was an international point guard Tomas Satoransky (201-91, currently plays in Spain) is a teammate of previously mentioned Ondrej Balvin and both played together in the last Spanish ACB game. Satoransky, who plays in the Spanish ACB. He was not able to help one of league's weakest teams one of league's weakest teams Cajasol (12-22) in their last game. Despite Satoransky's good performance Cajasol lost 68-76 on their home court in Sevilla to the higher-ranked (#14) Baloncesto Fuenlabrada. He was the top scorer with 14 points. Satoransky also added 4 passes in 30 minutes. Satoransky is currently fourth on the list of best passers with 4.2apg. This year his other stats are: 12.5ppg, 3.2rpg, 1.2spg, 2FGP: 50.6%, 3FGP: 34.2% and FT: 78.6% in the 33 games. Satoransky is also a member of the Czech Republic senior national team.

Center Jiri Hubalek (208-82, agency: Two Points, college: Iowa St., currently plays in Italy) contributed to an Umana Venezia's surprising victory against the league leader Cimberio Varese (23-7) 84-72 in the Italian SerieA in Thursday night's game. He recorded 6 points. Umana Reyer Venezia (16-14) is placed eighth in the SerieA. Hubalek's overall stats this season are: 4.5ppg and 2.7rpg. He used to play for the Czech Republic national team back in 2009.

David Jelinek

   #5. International shooting guard David Jelinek (194-90, currently plays in Spain) was not able to secure a victory for Caja Laboral (25-9) in their game against CB Canarias (17-17) in the Spanish ACB. Jelinek did not have that impressive stats last Sunday. He recorded only 2 points in 7 minutes on the court. Caja Laboral lost 94-99 on the road to the much lower-ranked (#10) CB Canarias. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. This year Jelinek averages just 2.3ppg in the 13 games. He plays currently for the Czech Republic national team.

Center Tomas Hampl (215-88, currently plays in Spain) contributed to a River Andorra's victory against the sixth-ranked Caceres Basket (12-14) 82-70 in the Spanish LEB Gold (second division) on Sunday night. Hampl recorded 8 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. B.C. River Andorra (20-3) is placed in the LEB Gold. Hampl's overall stats this season are: 7.3ppg and 3.7rpg. He is an international player who is currently on the senior Czech Republic National Team roster.

Jan Kratochvil (200-F-82, currently plays in Slovakia) managed to help MBK Rieker Komarno in a 1-point victoryagainst the closely-ranked Inter Bratislava (20-15) 73-72 in the Slovakian Extraliga in Wednesday night's game. Kratochvil scored only 4 points in 10 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. MBK Rieker Komarno (24-11) is placed second in the Extraliga. It was his team's first victory after four consecutive loses. This year Kratochvil's overall stats are: 5.7ppg and 2.8rpg in the 38 games he played so far.
