Nymburk and Pardubice will play in the Czech Cup Final. They overcame Ostrava and Prostejov respectively in the semifinal clashes tonight. The Final will be hosted by Liberec tomorrow. Nymburk had little problems against Ostrava 100:67. Nymburk exploded with 55 points in the first half to accumulate a 24-point lead. The margin grew at 30-point mark in the third term and Nymburk cruised to the victory at the end. Michael Efevberha (197-G-84, college: CS Northridge) chipped in 11 points for the winners. Jan Stehlik (184-G-86) chipped in 16 points for Ostrava. Ciz delivered 15 points in the loss. Pardubice worked harder to seal their appearance in the Final. They trailed by four points at the interval 50:54. Pardubice managed to pull ahead 75:74 at the end of the third term. They stepped on the gas in the fourth period and escaped with a comfortable win at the end 106:93. Corey Muirhead (197-F-83, college: W.Carolina) stepped up with 25 points to pace Pardubice. Zbynek Pospisil (206-F/C-81) contributed 16 points in the winning case. Pavel Slezak (186-G-84) responded with 25 points for Prostejov. Ondrej Kohout (204-F-91) had 21 points in the defeat.

Nymburk have decided to keep Radoslav Rancik (207-F/C-79, agency: Beo Basket, college: St.Cloud St.). The Slovakian power forward signed a new two-year deal with the Czech champions. Last season Radoslav Rancik started with Inter Bratislava. He notched 23.5 points per game in Extraliga. Later he moved to Nymburk.
