Lemvig - Falcon 64-72

Falcon celebrated the first win in the semifinal series versus Lemvig. The guests trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 23-9 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Falcon made 25-of-33 free shots (75.8 percent) during the game. Falcon had a 37-24 advantage in offensive rebounds. 26 personal fouls committed by Lemvig helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American center Trenice Fuller (193-87, college: Hofstra) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 17 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 blocks for the winners and guard Simona Bartkova (178-86) chipped in 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Falcon's coach Ole Vincents used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side FYR Macedonian point guard Ivana Udovalieva (172-84) responded with 20 points and 5 rebounds and forward Mallory Moore scored 12 points and 9 rebounds. Four Lemvig players scored in double figures.

SISU - Vaerlose 70-58

SISU cruised past Vaerlose for 1-0 lead in the semifinal series. Vaerlose was ahead by 2 points after three quarters before a 19-5 charge of SISU, which allowed them to win the game. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Vaerlose to just 5 points in fourth quarter. SISU dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to Vaerlose's 20. SISU forced 23 Vaerlose turnovers. American center Marie Malone (191-89, college: Hofstra) nailed 20 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side and guard Camilla Blands (180-85, college: Alabama) accounted for 9 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. American guard Alexandra Chili (180, college: Muhlenberg) came up with 21 points and Canadian center Janet Hatfield (190-85) added 11 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Vaerlose in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
