There will be only one (last) round of the Regular Season in Dameligaen.

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Falcon. Top-ranked SISU faced 3rd ranked Falcon. Guests from Copenhagen (19-0) defeated host Falcon (11-8) 71-60. The guests trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 41-26 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Strangely Falcon outrebounded SISU 43-31 including a 19-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was American center Marie Malone (191-89, college: Hofstra) who had a double-double by scoring 12 points and 14 rebounds. Kiki Lund (177-83, college: Dayton) chipped in 14 points and 7 assists. American center Trenice Fuller (193-87, college: Hofstra) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists for the hosts. Falcon's coach Ole Vincents rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Undefeated SISU have an impressive 19-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 19-0 record. Falcon at the other side keeps the third place with eight games lost. SISU are looking forward to face Horsholm (#4) at home in the next round. Falcon will play against Vaerlose and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Horsholm. Second ranked Lemvig faced 4th ranked Horsholm. Guests from Lemvig (16-3) defeated host Horsholm (10-10) 69-57. Austrian power forward Sarah Schicher (188-90, college: Dowling) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 18 rebounds and 4 blocks. Mallory Moore contributed with 22 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Maja Gerlyng-Hansen (180-88, college: Siena) replied with 16 points for Horsholm. Horsholm's coach Johan Enbom tested eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Lemvig maintains second position with 16-3 record having just three points less than leader SISU. Horsholm at the other side keeps the fourth place with ten games lost. Lemvig will play against Aabyhoj (#7) at home in the next round where they are favorite. Horsholm will play against the league's leader SISU in Copenhagen and hopes to get back on the winning track.
Bottom-ranked Horsens (0-20) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 70-52 loss to seventh ranked Aabyhoj (5-13) in Horsens on Saturday evening. Worth to mention a great performance of Maria Jespersen who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 8 rebounds. Aabyhoj's coach Thomas Press used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Emily White responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 15 rebounds. Aabyhoj maintains seventh position with 5-13 record. Loser Horsens still closes the standings. Aabyhoj will meet league's second-placed Lemvig on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Horsens will play against Amager (#6) in Kastrup and hope to get finally their first victory.
The game in Kastrup was also worth to mention about. 5th ranked Vaerlose (9-11) played at the court of sixth ranked Amager (7-12). Amager defeated Vaerlose 78-62. The winners were led by Catharina Jensen who scored that evening 25 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals. Amager maintains sixth position with 7-12 record. Vaerlose at the other side keeps the fifth place with 11 games lost. Amager's next round opponent will be bottom-ranked Horsens (#8) on the road. Vaerlose will play against Falcon and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Amager - Vaerlose 78-62

The game in Kastrup was also worth to mention about. 5th ranked Vaerlose (9-11) played at the court of sixth ranked Amager (7-12). Amager defeated Vaerlose 78-62. The game without a history. Amager led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. The winners were led by swingman Catharina Jensen (183-89) who scored that evening 25 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals and forward Emilie Keller (177-92) supported her with 25 points and 4 assists. Even 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists by American guard Alexandra Chili (180, college: Muhlenberg) did not help to save the game for Vaerlose. Center Rikke Fabricius (183-92) added 17 points and 6 rebounds for the guests. Amager maintains sixth position with 7-12 record. Vaerlose at the other side keeps the fifth place with 11 games lost. Amager's next round opponent will be bottom-ranked Horsens (#8) on the road. Vaerlose will play against Falcon and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Bottom-ranked Horsens (0-20) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 70-52 loss to seventh ranked Aabyhoj (5-13) in Horsens on Saturday evening. They dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Horsens' 18. Aabyhoj forced 19 Horsens turnovers and outrebounded them 50-28 including a 17-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Maria Jespersen (182-94) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 8 rebounds and American center Kelly Meredith (182, college: Assumption) who added 17 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Aabyhoj's coach Thomas Press used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Emily White (186-92) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 15 rebounds and guard Julie Ravn (174-93) scored 15 points. Four Horsens players scored in double figures. The game was mostly controlled by Lemvig. Horsholm was better in third quarter 16-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Lemvig won last quarter 26-16. They made 20-of-24 charity shots (83.3 percent) during the game. Lemvig outrebounded Horsholm 45-26 including a 34-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Austrian power forward Sarah Schicher (188-90, college: Dowling) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 18 rebounds and 4 blocks. Universidad de Oviedo (LF2) signed 25-year old Danish swingman Anne Pedersen (185-92, college: LSU). She played last season at Sevenoaks Suns in British WBBL. In 21 games she had very impressive stats: 15.3ppg, 7.8rpg and 1.7apg. Pedersen won English WBBL championship title. She was voted Eurobasket.com All-English WBBL 1st Team in 2017. Dameligaen newcomer Vaerlose BBK strengthened their roster with addition of American forward Paige Cashin (193). Cashin just graduated from S.Florida (NCAA). She has played there for the last four years. But in 13 games she recorded only 1.1ppg last season. Cashin helped them to make it to the final. Horsholm 79ers (Dameligaen) strengthened their roster with addition of 25-year old Danish guard Gritt Ryder (178-92). It is actually her comeback to Horsholm as she has played here before. just graduated from Colorado State University (NCAA).
