Horsens got to a confident start of their quarterfinal campaign. They held off Naestved at home court. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 7-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 100-84. Bakken Bears knocked down Horsholm at home court to secure 1-0 lead in the series. The hosts trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 93-70. Bakken forced 19 Horsholm turnovers. 25 personal fouls committed by Horsholm helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The newly crowned Ligaen champions Bakken Bears have ensured the services of Chris Christoffersen (218-C-79, college: Oregon) for one more season. The centre will enter his seventh straight season with the Bears. Last season Chris Christoffersen averaged 10.4 points, 7.7 rebounds, 1.4 blocks and 1.1 assists per game in Ligaen.
