Greece rout Estonia to enter the semis of the 2015 EuroBasket Qualifying Round. The Greek side became the third team in the Semifinal Stage after a 58:43 win.
It was the game for the top position in Group A as both teams won the first two games against Netherlands and Luxembourg. Greece was the favorite of the game and won the first period 15-8. Moreover the Greek side added a n 18-11 rally to take 33;19 halftime advantage. Estonia managed to win the third period 12-11 and also scored 12 points in the last period. It was not however enough to win the quarter neither the game as Greece posted 14 points in the last period.
Zoi Dimitrakou (188-F-87, agency: Josep and Nicolas) top-scored for the winners with 12 points and Peli Papamichail (189-F/C-86, agency: Josep and Nicolas) notched 10. Olga Chatzinikolaou (181-F/G-81) scored 8, whilst Dimitra Kalentzou (174-G-78) and Katerina Sotiriou (186-F-84, agency: FCM) had 7 each. Mirjam Nikolai (177-G-86) finished the game with 13 points in the losing effort and Maaja Bratka (190-F/C-92) poured in 10. Laina Mesila-Kaarmann (186-C/F-87) produced 8 and Merike Anderson (180-F/G-81, agency: LBM Management) added 6.

TLU (University of Tallinn) led the game for whole 40 minutes and won the Game 2 of Estonian Championship finals against Rapla 77:64 (37:26) to even the series to 1:1. Viive Kai Rebane (183-F-89, college: Binghamton) led the winners with a great double-double - 25+14 rbs. Trine Kasemagi (190-C-95) added 18 + 12 rbs and Mirjam Nikolai(178-G-86) 16 + 5 ast. OSK capture NKL title - 8 days ago
OSK conquered the NKL title. They rallied past Audentese SK 61:48 in the Final tonight. Kadri Parnpuu (180-C-84) provided 25 points and 13 boards to lead the winners. OSK grabbed a 22:17 advantage after the first period. They followed with a 22:11 rally in the second stanza to secure a 43:28 halftime advantage. FCR Media/Rapla KK and Tallinna Ulikool enter NKML Finals in Estonia. They swept the semifinal series against their rivals and will face each other on April 15th in the Final opener.
