BC Kalev/Cramo lost to Pieno Zvaigzde 79:82 but nevertheless reaxched the semifinals of Baltic Basketball League as they had won the home game by 16. This is a historic moment for Estonian basketball because it's the first time for BC Kalev/Cramo to reach top4 of BBL. Until now, the only Estonian team to reach BBL semifinal was TU/Rock in 2009.
Kalev/Cramo will face Ventspils in semifinal.

The game between Pieno Zvaigzde and BC Kalev/Cramo was nothing but formality. The hosts were full of confidence and started well. With six and half minutes played, the hosts led 17:7 meaning that they had only 6 more points to overcome. Sirutavicius had scored 8 points, already. But Kalev/Cramo woke up and almost evened the game by the end of 1st quarter - 21:17. Starting the 2nd quarter, three-pointers by Sinica and Ruikis made the gap to double-digits, again - 27:17 but the guests managed to balance the game - after baskets by Frank Elegar (208-C-86, college: Drexel) it was 27:23. Although the hosts took it to plus 9 once more, the first half ended 44:44.

After the halftime break, baskets by Gary Wilkinson and Gert Dorbek took the guests ahead 44:50 but the quarter ended 64:64. In last quarter the lead changed five times and the hosts had the final word but three-point win was nothing but an insufficient consolation.

Gytis Sirutavicius (195-SF-83) led the winners with 21 points. Armands Skele (192-G-83) scored 18 for Kalev/Cramo. Frank Elegar had a double-double ith 15 points and 11 rbs.
