We bring you last week's top performances from Estonians who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

Siim-Sander Vene
Siim-Sander Vene
#1. This week's number one is an international small forward Siim-Sander Vene (203-90, agency: Alti Sport, currently plays in Baltic League). He led his Lithuanian team Rudupis to a 3-point victory against the closely-ranked Barons kvartals (5-1) 76-73 in the Baltic League in Wednesday night's game. Vene recorded 12 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists in 25 minutes on the court. It was the game of the round between two top 2 ranked teams in group F. Rudupis Prienu (5-1) is placed first. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. This year Vene averages: 9.7ppg, 5.6rpg, 2.4apg, 1.4spg, 2FGP: 54.2%, 3FGP: 29.4% in the 19 games he played so far. He is currently a member of the Estonian senior national team.

Kristjan Kangur

#2. Second place goes to an international small forward Kristjan Kangur (201-82, currently plays in Euroleague), who plays in Italy. Kangur could not help Montepaschi Siena (7-5) to beat Besiktas (1-11). He scored 9 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. But the fifth-placed Montepaschi Siena was edged 72-70 on the road by the lower-ranked Besiktas (#8) in the group F of Euroleague. It was Montepaschi Siena's third consecutive loss in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the Euroleague Top 16. So now every game will be critical. It's Kangur's first season with the team. Kangur's overall stats this year are: 8.9ppg, 3.5rpg, 1.3apg, 2FGP: 54.0%, 3FGP: 43.3% and FT: 83.3%. He is in the roster of the Estonian senior national team.

Reinar Hallik

#3. The Estonian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international center Reinar Hallik (208-84, currently plays in Romania). Hallik was the major contributor in Craiova's victory against the closely-ranked U-Mobitelco (18-10) 80-72 in the Romanian Liga Nationala on Sunday night. He recorded 14 points in 21 minutes. SCM CSU Craiova (20-8) is placed fourth in the Liga Nationala. They ended the series of three consecutive loses. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season.
