Karsiyaka and EWE Baskets take the last spots in Final Four - Mar 19, 2013

Karsiyaka - Paris-Levallois 85-69
Karsiyaka advanced to the Final Four of the EuroChallenge. The Turkish team overcame Paris-Levallois 85:69 in the decisive third game and clinched the ticket to the Semifinal. The game was mostly controlled by Karsiyaka. The hosts started with 21-8 and never looked behind. Paris-Levallois managed to win third quarter 28-24. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Karsiyaka finished the game with 17-15 rally and celebrated the victory in front of 4000 fans. The best player for the winners was Will Thomas (203-PF-86, agency: Two Points) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds. Bobby Dixon (178-PG-83, agency: Beo Basket, college: Troy) chipped in 22 points and 6 assists. Four Karsiyaka players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Sean May (206-F-84, college: N.Carolina) who recorded 23 points and 8 rebounds and Andrew Albicy (178-PG-90) added 9 points and 9 assists respectively.

EWE Baskets - Khimik 100-78
EWE Baskets take the last ticket to the Semifinals of the EuroChallenge. The German side smashed Khimik 100:78 in the decisive third game and clinched the spot in the Final Four. The lead changed hands 15 times in the first 12 minutes, while the scores were even on eight occasions.EWE Baskets shot 67.9 percent from the field and made 21-of-24 charity shots (87.5 percent) during the game. EWE Baskets outrebounded Khimik 36-19 including a 31-10 advantage in defensive rebounds. Khimik was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for Rickey Paulding (196-G-82, agency: Pro One Sports, college: Missouri) who led his team to a victory with 24 points and 7 rebounds. Adam Chubb (208-F/C-81, agency: Pro One Sports, college: Pennsylvania) contributed with 22 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Willie Deane answered with 23 points and 4 assists and Devoe Joseph (193-G-90, agency: Interperformances, college: Oregon) added 14 points in the effort for Khimik.

FINAL Karsiyaka - Krasnie Krilya 76-77 Krasnye Kylia steal the trophy from Izmir. The Russian side grabbed a 77:76 victory over Pinar Karsiyaka in the EuroChallenge 2012/2013 Final.
