Lokomotiv closed on the EuroCup Final. They shot down Valencia in Spain in the opening game of the EuroCup semifinal two-game series. Simas Jasaitis (202-SF-82) nailed 23 points and grabbed 8 rebounds to lead the winners. Lokomotiv thrashed Valencia defence in the opening quarter. The visitors poured in 29 points to take an 8-point lead. Valencia straighten up their game in the second quarter. The Spaniards narrowed the deficit at 2-point mark at halftime 43:45. But Lokomotiv unleashed impressive 31 points in the third frame to clear off. The Krasnodar team piled up a comfortable 18-point buffer heading into the fourth term 58:76. Valencia went on a desperate rescue rally in the final stanza. The hosts erupted for 29 points but just trimmed the deficit at the end. Derrick Brown (203-F-87, college: Xavier) chipped in 19 points, while Mantas Kalnietis (195-PG-86, agency: Interperformances) netted 17 points for the winners. Justin Doellman (206-F-85, college: Xavier) answered with 28 points for Valencia. Pau Ribas (193-PG-87) nailed 20 points in the defeat.

Budivelnyk - Gescrap BB 83-93
Uxue Bilbao made a huge step towards EuroCup Finals. They overcame Budivelnyk in Kyiv in the first semifinal clash of the two-game series. Lamont Hamilton (208-C/F-84, college: St.John's) provided 26 points and 8 rebounds to pace the Basque team. Bilbao led by a single point after ten minutes 20:19. The visitors stretched the lead in the second quarter. They arrived at halftime up by 4 points 48:44. The visitors went on an 11:2 run early in the third quarter to boost the lead. Bilbao kept Budivelnyk at distance posting a 71:61 lead into the fourth frame. Malcolm Delaney (191-G-89, college: Virginia Tech) helped the hosts within five points in the fourth term 70:75. But Lamont Hamilton re-established an 83:73 advantage for the Spaniards. The visitors maintained the lead in the final minutes and sealed a comforting win at the end. Kostas Vasiliadis (200-G/F-84, agency: FCM) delivered 20 points for Bilbao. Nikolaos Zisis (197-G-83) and Alex Mumbru (202-F-79) added 14 points each for the winners. Malcolm Delaney answered with game-high 38 points for Budivelnyk. Dainius Salenga (197-F-77) had 11 points in the loss.

American Jalen Reynolds (208-F-92) put on an amazing game in the last round for Grissin Bon RE and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 2. The 25-year old forward had a double-double of 23 points and fourteen rebounds, while his team edged out Galatasaray (#6, 0-2) 74-71. Grissin Bon RE need more victories to improve their 1-1 record. 30-year old American point guard Curtis Jerrells (185-88kg-87, college: Baylor) left Hapoel Jerusalem (Winner League). In two games he had 7.5ppg, 2.0rpg, 3.5apg and 1.5spg this season.
