Serbian forward Cedomir Vitkovac (201-F-82, agency: Beo Basket) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Buducnost, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 3 (Top 16). The 30-year old player had a double-double of 24 points and 10 rebounds, while his team edged out Budivelnyk (2-1) 79-75. Buducnost maintains the 3rd position in Eurocup group I. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this stage. Buducnost will need more victories to improve their 2-1 record. It's Vitkovac's second year at Buducnost and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Cedomir Vitkovac has solid league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (9th best: 6.7rpg) and averages impressive 51.6% FGP.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Lokomotiv's star - Australian center Aleks Maric (211-C-84). He was another key player of Lokomotiv, helping his team with a 87-80 win against #4 ranked Cajasol in a game of the week. Lokomotiv started extremely well this Top 16. Maric turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Maric has a great season in Eurocup. After only 9 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 7.7rpg (6th best).

His great mobility for a player his size and very effective shots allowed him to dominate last games in Belgium. When he combines those skills with his quickness, good hands and patience, Fusek can become one of the hardest big men to stop.
Fusek is also a great shot blocker, ranks first with 4 blocks per 40 min, due to his incredible height and decent timing.
Fusek averages 15.5 points and 12.25 rebounds per 40 min in Belgium
