CSKA Moscow (PBL) cut 27-year old American guard Dionte Christmas (196-93kg-86, college: Temple). In 6 PBL games he played this season he averaged 3.8ppg and 2.2rpg. Christmas also played 13 games in Euroleague where he had 6.5ppg and 1.1rpg. He also played 8 games in VTB United League where he had 5.5ppg, 2.0rpg and 1.0apg. Christmas spent pre-season at the Celtics in NBA earlier last season. He ended the last season at the Rockets in NBA. But the most of that year Christmas spent at A.G.O Rethymno Aegean (A1) in Greek league. In 26 games he had very impressive stats: 18.6ppg, 4.4rpg, 3.0apg and 1.6spg. A very good season in his career as he was selected to Eurobasket.com Greek A1 League All-Imports Team and 2nd Team. The most of previous (10-11) season he spent at PAOK Thessaloniki (A1) in Greece. In 13 games that season he had 9.8ppg, 2.8rpg and 1.2apg. He helped them to make it to the semifinals. The other team Christmas played shortly was CEZ Nymburk (NBL) in Czech Republic league. But in four NBL games he had just 1.3ppg and 1.3rpg. Christmas also played 3 games in Eurocup where he had 6.3ppg. He also played 6 games in Adriatic League where he had 8.5ppg, 3.5rpg and 1.0apg. Among other achievements Christmas' team won Czech Rep. Cup in 2011. He received also All-Atlantic 10 Most Improved Player of the Year award and NABC All-NCAA District 3 2nd Team award back in 2007 at his college time. Christmas has played also professionally in Israel (Hapoel Afula), Turkey (Mersin) and NBA (Philadelphia 76ers). He attended Temple University until 2009 and it is his fourth season in pro basketball.

According to official information published on ALBA Berlin web site and in Serbian Sports news, Serbian coach Sasa Obradovic (agency: Beo Basket ) will stays one more season in German team. This season ALBA Berlin in Germany championship made score of 20 wins and 14 lost games. Jasmin Repesa is not going to stay with Unicaja Malaga reportedly. The Spanish media reports that the team decided to part ways with the coach after his failure to lead Unicaja into the ACB playoffs. Unicaja finished the regular season in the ninth position at 18-16 record. The Malaga team also failed to make it into EuroLeague playoffs occupying the fifth position in the second stage Group E. Jasmin Repesa took over Unicaja at the start of the season. He signed 1+1 contract then. Last season the Croatian specialist worked with KK Cibona. He led the team to the A1 title. Eurobasket.com named Jasmin Repesa All-Croatian A1 League Coach of the Year. Repesa used to work in Croatia, Turkey, Poland and Italy before. He also guided the Croatian and Polish National Teams.
Olympiacos S.F.P. Pireus (A1) waived 30-year old American point guard Doron Perkins (188-83kg-83, college: Santa Clara). In 7 A1 games he recorded 4.1ppg, 3.9rpg, 1.7apg and 1.0spg this season. He also played 5 games in Euroleague but he averaged just 0.4ppg.

In 14 Superleague games he averaged 10.9ppg, 6.3rpg, 5.4apg and 1.9spg. He also played 2 games in Eurocup where he averaged 12.5ppg, 6.5rpg, 7.5apg (top 2), 1.0spg (leader !!!) and 1.0bpg. Perkins also played 6 games in VTB United League where he averaged 4.2ppg, 3.5rpg, 2.7apg and 1.0spg. The last season he played at FoxTown Cantu (SerieA) in Italian league. In 18 games he averaged 11.1ppg, 6.2rpg, 3.3apg and 2.1spg. Perkins also played 2 games in Euroleague where he averaged 10.0ppg, 7.5rpg, 5.5apg and 1.0spg (in top 4). He won Euroleague championship title. The previous (10-11) season he played at Maccabi Electra Tel-Aviv (Winner League) in Israel. In 22 games he averaged 14.2ppg, 4.5rpg, 5.0apg and 2.3spg. He helped them to win the cup. Great season indeed as he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Israeli League 1st Team and All-Imports Team. Perkins also played 19 games in Euroleague where he averaged 9.5ppg, 5.4rpg, 3.6apg and 1.7spg (in top 5). The list of the past achievements is quite long as Perkins received Eurobasket.com All-Israeli League Player of the Year award and Eurobasket.com All-Israeli League Import Player of the Year award back in 2009. He is quite experienced player. Perkins has played also professionally in Belgium (Bree), Germany (EWE Baskets), Japan (Toyota Alvark) and Israel (Maccabi Haifa). He attended Santa Clara University until 2005 and it is his eighth season as a professional player. The scouts decsribe him following way:
A good point guard, who is able to run the offense at any tempo and is very effective at the defnsive side. Can score in penetration, steals lots of balls, he's a very good rebounder for his size. He should improve his outside shooting, however, to become a top league material.
