UMMC - Bourges 73-44
UMMC reach the Final at the home tournament. The Russian team beat Bourges 73:44 in the Semifinal game of EuroLeague. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 9-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 73-44. UMMC Ekaterinburg dominated on the defensive end, holding Bourges to just 7 points in second quarter. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when UMMC Ekaterinburg made 8 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of Candace Parker who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points, 14 rebounds and 4 blocks. Diana Taurasi (182-SG-82, college: Connecticut) contributed with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Celine Dumerc (169-G-82) answered with 12 points. Johannah Leedham added 8 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Bourges. Marissa Coleman (185-G/F-87, college: Maryland) scored 13, while Christelle Diallo netted 7.

Fenerbahce - Good Angels 68-56
Trailing 7 points at the halftime, Fenerbahce managed to beat Good Angels and advanced to the Finals. The Turkish team proved their ambitions in the second half and won 68:56. Tomorrow Fenerbahce will take on the hosts and the favorites, UMMC. Kosice started better and made successive scores from three-point range to initiate an impressive 10-0 run. They led 27-16 early in the game and had 35-28 at the half. The hosts trailed by 7 points at the halftime before their 40-21 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of Angel McCoughtry (187-SF-86, college: Louisville) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 14 rebounds. Cappie Pondexter (175-G-83, college: Rutgers) contributed with 19 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Matovic and Veremeenko followed them with 10 points apiece. Plenette Pierson answered with 23 points and 8 rebounds and Petra Kulichova (198-C-84) added 10 points and 13 rebounds in the effort for Good Angels.

31-year old guard Allie Quigley (178-G-86) put on an amazing game in the last round for Galatasaray and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 2. She had the game-high 26 points adding six assists for Galatasaray in her team's victory, helping them to beat USK Praha (1-1) 82-77. Bydgoszcz (Poland) - Oct 12th 2017 While she as having a very strong start to the 2017-2018 season with CCC Polkowice both in EuroLeague Women (ELW) and Polish League (BLK), Theresa Plaisance sustained a serious knee injury on Day 4 of BLK playing against Artego Bydgoszcz on the road. Group A Castors Braine - Bourges 66-78 Another interesting game for French Bourges (1-1) which played on the court of Belgian Castors Braine (0-2). Bourges had an easy win 78-66. It looked good early as Castors Braine took a 2-point small lead at the end of first quarter.
