Nenad Krstic
29-year old center Nenad Krstic (212-C-83) had a great game in the last round for CSKA and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 9 (Top 16).
He had the game-high 20 points adding four rebounds and four assists for CSKA in his team's victory, helping them to beat ALBA (#7, 1-8) 80-65. CSKA maintains the 3rd position in Euroleague group E. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier in Top 16. CSKA will need more victories to improve their 6-3 record. It's Krstic's second year at CSKA and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Nenad Krstic averages this season 13.4ppg.

Second best performed player last round was Maciej Lampe (211-F/C-85) of Caja Laboral. He is Polish-Swedish forward in his second season at Caja Laboral. In the last game Lampe recorded impressive double-double of 19 points and 12 rebounds. Bad luck as Caja Laboral was edged by slightly higher-ranked Maccabi T-A (4-5) 66-62. This loss caused Caja Laboral to drop to 6th position in group F. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 4-5 record. Lampe is well-known at Caja Laboral and he already established his position as one of the team's leaders.

Third place about best performers goes to center Paul Davis (211-C-84) of Khimky (#4). Davis scored 18 points and grabbed nine rebounds. Despite Davis' great performance Khimky lost 69-71 to #1 ranked FCB Regal. But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Khimky needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams in group F. Their record is 5 victories and 4 lost games. Davis has a very solid season. In 18 games in Euroleague he scored 13.1ppg. He also has 5.2rpg and FGP: 60.0%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Roko-Leni Ukic (196-PG-84) of Panathinaikos - 13 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists
5. Randal Falker (201-F-85) of Besiktas - 11 points and 9 rebounds
6. Bojan Bogdanovic (203-SG-89) of Fener.Ulker - 22 points and 3 rebounds
7. Mindaugas Kuzminskas (205-F-89) of Zalgiris - 15 points and 8 rebounds
8. Luka Zoric (211-C-84) of Unicaja - 12 points and 7 rebounds
9. Dusko Savanovic (204-PF-83) of Anadolu Efes - 21 points and 5 rebounds
10. Ante Tomic (217-C-87) of FCB Regal - 16 points and 5 rebounds

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
