Mike Batiste
Mike Batiste (203-F-77, college: Arizona St.), the American player that spent nearly all his career in the team of the six star Panathinaikos will most probably end his career in the team he loves more. Mike accept a number of decent offer from the Spanish, Russian, Turkish and Israeli leagues during this summer who refused since his wish was and still is to continue his career (probably last season) in the team he loves and loved more, Panathinaikos.

According to most of the Greek and other European rumors, the American power forward / center will join forces with the team of Panathinaikos and within the next few hours this will be officially announced. According to the same sources, Mike Batiste will be playing only in the Euroleague games since the roster (in terms of American players) is already set for Panathinaikos for the Greek league duties.

If there is an official call and press announcement by the team, Eurobasket will be notifying its audience as soon as possible.

Other transfer news:
Nikos Liakopoulos (189-PG-83, agency: FCM) and Tony Crocker (201-G/F-87, college: Oklahoma) joined forces with AE Kiffisias, while the next player is expected to be the ex player of PAOK Thessaloniki, the American guard Hatscher

Fotios Zoumpos (192-SG-93) joined forces with Ilysiakos Athens in a two years deal.

The French Guy-Marc Michel (213-C-88, college: Indiana) center and ex player of KAOD is officially Panionios player for the next two years

Giorgos Bogris (210-C/F-89) agreed financial terms with PAOK Thessaloniki

After Aleksandar Vezenkov, Aris Thessaloniki agreed financial terms and sign a three years contract with the young talented and member of the Hellenic NT Stylianos Poulianitis (190-G-95)

The "Hoosier" Lucas Lecavicius.. - 3 days ago
Panathinaikos found their own elf to add to their backcourt deep in the Baltic forest, expecting to bring some of the Lithuanian school magic at OAKA. Let's talk about the "Hoosier" Lucas Lecavicius.. Xavi Pascual seems to be close to us in terms of thinking and philosophy. I started this offseason thinking the names of Janis Strelnieks and Daniel Theis, envisioning a new, more 'European' Panathinaikos. The German big man signed with the Celtics, and the 'packaging' of the choice of Leca...   [read more]
